Should have stuck with Indy and ShortRound you might have had a billion-dollar movie on your hands or near enough. But those quotas and checkboxes have got to be filled.
Trust me you're not missing much. Indiana Jones dial of disappointment, it just looks silly n weird to see a 81 yr old doing things that only a 40 yr Indy can do
Apparently not, even though Paramount retains distribution rights to the first four, and will receive financial compensation for any future instalments.
I found it very enjoyable. Can’t wait to rewatch all the movies back to back. The references to the previous movies as well as the events which transpire towards the third act made this adventure feel more whole compared to how we left things in Crystal Skull. Indiana Jones will forever be timeless to me.
Imagine scrapping a one last adventure with Indy, Short Round, and Marion for a garbage time traveling story with a terrible fugly Phoebe Waller Fleabag 🐴 Couldn't be me 🤭📉
Was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this movie was. From the music, to the direction of the film it felt like an older Indian Jones movie. I liked it
I'm going to watch it, but I guarantee its not something the whole family will love, my parents have never watched an indy film and so have no idea why this exists, oh and it isn't streaming until the 15th of December not the 1st

Just watched this on Disney+. It's slightly better than 'Crystal Skull'. But Helena is just an awful character through and through. I would have much prefered Indy going on an adventure with an adult Short Round. Or why not that CIA-agent Mason? She seemed cool. But completely wasted. A shame.
@@cliffsofmoherfilmreviews It undoes the happy ending for *_Crystal Skull_* and makes Indiana Jones a deadbeat just like *_The Last Jedi_* did with Luke Skywalker.
Yes, it does. Why would he also want to stay in the past when he claims there's nothing for him in the 60s? That ain't Indiana Jones. He would keep going despite how tough things can get? It's just like with Spider-Man: he almost never gets what he wants, but he keeps going despite his personal life being absolutely crap most of the time.
