I still actually can't believe we're getting another Indy film. I feel like a little kid again. After basically nothing for the last 15 years, I thought we'd never get this
I just saw Indy last Thursday and it was the best movie ever . Harrison looked so great using the whip on last time . And his final adventure was very different than his previous adventures . Time travel was something new that I’ve been waiting for since avengers endgame and now Indy finally got to see ancient times .Thank you harrison ford and George lucas .
Indy: Follow me! Basil: Towards the GUN? Indy: Away from the Nazis! Basil: *(takes a peak and sees the countless Nazis on the train roof)* THOSE *ARE NAZIS!* Man, this film’s humor keeps getting better & better 😂
I got to see Indiana Jones in the theater...when Crystal Skull came out. But I never got to see Indiana Jones punch a Nazi on the big screen. i'm so excited.
I love how this film bears a huge resemblance to the *Last Crusade,* but with some major twists and a more-modern time zone. They even start the film with a train chase, once again featuring Indy in his young (but 20 years older) age 😂
@@benclayton-wolfindale9444 Research the movie. The reshoots. How bad kathline kennedy botched it with the script. How Indy was supposed to die originally and then have the female protagonist travel back in time and rewrite history so Jones never existed thus erasing him from time..... Yeah that's Kennedy spitting on all the previous works and history of the movies and treating them like they never existed. And turning the last chance to make a good send off for Indy into a woke piles of sh!t.
In one of the previews, Phoebe is kickin' guys' butts like a cage fighter. Then, I hear she knocks Indy out with one punch. Tell me, how many females back in the 1960's had the fighting skills and strength to do all that?
So glad this is the final movie, Indy's last hurrah, and the role being rightfully cemented with Ford. He simply cannot be replaced. Cannot wait for June 28th!
Honestly even if the movie isn’t great, I think one thing it will be is fun. It’ll be a fun theater experience and will still have the Indiana jones vibe we love. I’m still hopeful it’ll be good though!
I think people are really hating on Pheobe Waller Bridge, and saying she's ruining the movie. I think people are being way too harsh on her, I've heard the movie is great and back to formula. I've also heard that the ending will be a topic of debate, so I guess we'll have to see.
Where's the holster in young Indy's sequence? In 1969 I get it, he wouldn't go carrying around an holster, but during the original WW II period he would, even if the Nazis had taken the gun.
So that's it! I couldn't pinpoint why the costume looked so incomplete to me. It wasn't Ford's CGI face, but something else (the lack of it, apparently) that made young Indy look weird to me.
@@thedinobeaverWe already have scenes in which Indy solves puzzles and not Helena, and reviewers have generally not commented on Helena outperforming Indy. At most it seems like they’ll be equal but overall it’ll still be Indy’s movie
@@DrasticFox2004 Phoebe Waller Bridge is said to be a obnoxious character who upstages Ford broken down old Indiana Jones at every turn - she is the hero of the story and rescues Indy. Reviews say shes the obnoxious perfect character while Indy is a broken old man cowering in the corner.
The only anachronism I saw in the film was that one of the Germans in New York and on the boat had a MAC 10 machine pistol; the parade for the Apollo astronauts in NYC was on August 11, 1969, and the MAC 10 wasn't in production until 1970.

I have a feeling short round is gonna return in this movie out of all the interviews i saw about indiana jones 5, i saw the actor of short round in them, idk he probably is just there to see it but i hope he'll be there.
The best part of the film was when Kathleen Kennedy said ”It’s kennedin’ time” And kennedy’d all over those masterpieces. Truly a moment in cinema. Bravo Lucasfilm
@@benclayton-wolfindale9444 I said it'd be funny, not that it'd be a smart marketing strategy. It's this thing called a 'joke', which apparently you've never heard of before.

@@DrasticFox2004 I never knew Disney and Paramount Pictures involved for this latest Indiana Jones movie. They co-produced Popeye (1980) and Dragonslayer (1981).
@@benclayton-wolfindale9444 Who has the awful attitude? The potential clients or the producers that are 100% going to ruin yet another icon to push yet another bland woke storyline.
This will be guaranteed to flop, the main star isn't Indy, its his stupid goddaughter. They killed off the son so they could have a female lead, talking down to her male co-star.
As a fan of all 4 films, I'm really foward to this 👍 good reviews keep coming out lately. Harrison Ford deserves it, and so does everyone who worked really hard in this movie 🥰 thank you for this hero and these inspiring adventures you gave us in the big screen all these years.
@@firstname4337that's not even true, stop being disingenuous. It sits at 57% on RT, meaning that more than a half of those lucky 83 movie critics who have already seen the movie, actually liked it. Then again, remember the days when people formed its own opinion after having seen the whole damn thing themselves?
@@AntonicontHandmadeLuresMore than half by a small margin. We’re talking about 85 people. More than half of 85 people so far. That’s not even remotely a fraction of anything that would be considered a representation of the universal opinion of the movie
IMPRE$$IVE ....... Bait and switch Trailer .... fool me once blah blah blah .... enjoy yer box office returns !!!! And I say this as someone who actually enjoyed FLEABAG (even though every man in it was a pathetic loser except for the priest) ..... but enuf is enuf. KK should CREATE her OWN series and stop F'ng around with other peoples legacies. Your 9 lives are up KK. Time for a sabbatical.

In 10 Days, history`s greatest hero returnes...for 20 minutes, than he gets tossed to the side by a sorry and insufferable side-character no one cares for. Fleabag and KK have Indys blood on their hands...I wonder how they can go on with their lives😥😅
ha ha - this movie sucks -- even the critics hate it -- it got "polite" applause at its debut -- and the applause was for Harrison Ford and his career , not for the movie
@@oXRaptorzXo Critics can ONLY be trusted when it fits their narrative of a "non-woke" movie doing well. But if a movie is "woke" and gets bad reviews and does badly, its because "get woke go broke." You are dealing with people with the collective IQ of a tank of goldfish.
You can watch another of your childhood heroes get treated like shit by lucasfilm as they spit in your face and take your money. F the patriarchy, right?
Yes she knocks indy out and returns him 1969 to reunite with Marion. He's an old drunken buffoon and she a strong female character who takes control and saves the day. Original Disney there.
@@joevictor53 I read the spoilers and decided for myself that it was not very good because objectivity exists. We all knew it wasn’t going to be good. It’s 2023 movies aren’t very good with only exceptions like Maverick and the Mission Impossible films when it comes to blockbusters.
This looks terrible. They can't make a great Indiana Jones film nowadays because it would hurt democrats' feelings. The whole point of the first three movies were that they weren't politically correct. Indiana went from woman to woman, just like James Bond. He was never saved by a chick, he didn't care what he said to anyone, and he didn't care who or what he stole from. "Writers" nowadays are activists. They don't have any creativity at all. Just look at modern Disney and the writers strike. They're going out of their way to tank their own company over their politics.
You made a nonsensical political pamphlet out of a popcorn summer movie, did you realize that, buddy? Congratulations for completely succumbing to this intoxicated narrative, and giving up on the capability of enjoying things for what they are.
@@AntonicontHandmadeLures Uh, you realize people haven't been able to enjoy things for what they are since the early 2000s, right? Hollywood and the rest of western civilization decided to end it all around 2010. Think I'm wrong? BLM was created in 2013.
Marion literally saved him at her bar while he was getting strangled by a goon, and has needed the help of others throughout the series, such as needing Short Round or Sallah or his dad to get him out of a rough spot, and he did care about returning the sankara stones to the village-his arc in TOD was about him moving away from the “fortune and glory” mentality he had. I guess you could say that Indy didn’t care about who or what he stole from, but that’s usually because the movie painted his actions in ways that were reasonable- ofc we wouldn’t want the ark of the covenant or the holy grail to be in the hands of Nazis.
im voting NO with my wallet. I refuse to give disney money to belittle and degrade my childhood movie heroes and not giving disney my money, it is the only way i have to say: i disagree with the values and morals and storytelling of this IP.
