Probably not. The music is being composed while the film is being worked on....however it usually doesn't get recorded until after filming is done and the movie is in post-production.

The combination brass, strings, percussion, and wind ensemble during the chorus gives me vibes of a great, vast, magnificent exotic middle eastern or near eastern empire among dunes, oases, and jungles.

The second Indiana Jones theme, in my opinion. Represents him at his most truly heroic, which was really in this one movie which I consider the best of the franchise.

Christian Schumann reminds me of Jan Bubák. He, too, looks like he emphasizes cooperation, not his personality. These recordings of film music he conducted are great! Very true to the original, perfect changes in tempo, very dramatic but not over-the-top. I´d be curious to know what it´s like to work with him and if my impression is correct, or it´s just an impression 😄

go to their website (DR Koncerthuset) The page is in Danish but it still is easy to navigate. Klick on Kalender(upper left) and chose Filmmusik/Temakoncerter on the left. The rest is pretty selfexplanatory.
