When my mother had surgery for 3 years in a row, because of recurring tumors, I seriously considered making a crowd sourcing page(3k) to help with the bills. In the end I cried like a bitch while making it but never went through with posting it. This was during her second surgery when she lost so much blood her memory was fucked and all she could do for like 4 months was sleep. She was literally a fluid ounce or 2 from getting a blood transfusion during a blood shortage. Maybe it was my pride, I hated the idea of begging or getting help from a place of pity. In the end shes happy and alive, and the whole thing made us all stronger. Idubbbz vids on ebeggers always reminds me of that time, it was my "shit hand" moment lol.
