I met Enoch Inri at a gas station in Panama City, FL once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person and that I loved his videos. We talked for a bit but when the topic of Victoria III came up his demeanor noticeably changed and he became a lot more abrasive and it almost seemed like he was pissed at me, like I was responsible. After I finished filling up my car he asked if he could bum some gas and held his hands out, cupping them. I laughed at first but he kept doing it until it was just awkward. I asked if he was serious and he said "I never say no to cash" and I really just wanted the interaction to end so I gave him $20. Afterwards I saw him go into the store and come out with a bunch of shitty box wine and like six honey buns. Then he started walking down the sidewalk and I noticed that he didn't even have a car. All in all it was a really off-putting experience.
I wasn't expecting an Japanese empire not attacking Asia early game but here I am, and by god I may actually prefer this over any of those playthroughs This does in fact get stupid when we get Japanese Argentina and that's the charm of Victoria 2, making cursed borders, certainly may try sometime
yo great discovery on the containment conditions! congrats! 🙌🙌 as a vic2 hidden mechanics autist, i always love to see those hidden mechanics get unraveled and put to use as u did don't tell anyone, but i def could've used that info recording the next releassables a-z with thrashes like 2 hours ago lolololol (recording isn't finished yet and editing hasn't started, but its a very interesting strat we came up with) edit: like ur meme editing
thrashes mentioned it in another comment, but Australia and New Zealand are the two other nations who this is most viable with because they're in the "Oceania" continent...
Actually didnt know that about Japans infamy stuff, it would have been very helpful for an upcoming Australia secret tech video recorded by 4th Kaiser. Hes kicking himself over not knowing this right now.
Yo, big ups to my dude ENOCH INRI for always dropping fire content! His Victoria III and Paradox games stuff is legit my escape out here in the Zimbabwe savanna, dealing with rebel chaos. Enoch, your comedic genius is a lifesaver in the madness. So, I'm knee-deep in this rebel struggle, right? Every day's a rollercoaster, and Enoch's vids are my daily getaway. His witty comments and hilarious edits? Man, they're a mini-vacation from the madness. It's more than just gaming; it's a comedy show in the middle of this rebel-fighting grind. Now, let me paint the picture: wild terrain, rebel hideouts, constant adrenaline. That's my reality. But when I catch a break, Enoch's videos turn the whole scene around. His humor adds some sanity to this unpredictable savanna life. Feels like he's right here, cracking jokes, making me forget the rebel drama for a bit. In the midst of it all, Enoch's content is a relief, a chance to kick back and laugh when things get too intense. And here's the thing, my uncle second removed Mutamwa (RIP)? Man, he used to love watching Enoch's videos. Unfortunately, he got captured by those rebel bastards. It hits hard, you know? But remembering how much joy Enoch's content brought him is like honoring his memory, finding solace in the laughter he cherished. So, big shoutout to Enoch Inri for being the laugh-out-loud hero in my gaming adventures and for being that virtual connection to my late uncle. These videos aren't just entertainment; they're a link to better times and a reminder that even in the toughest spots, humor can be a game-changer. Keep those vids coming, bro, and know that your chilled-out vibes are reaching deep into the Zimbabwe savanna, making a difference. Legend status, no doubt!
just playtested ur tech as ottos, its false i released balkans so i dont border anyone and my capital was in ankara due to the event. still got declared by sweden and spain (no border)
Try letting rebels occupy you/your vassal's capital before going over infamy so they're properly 'released' and not vassals. When you release someone as a puppet I think that counts as you technically still "bordering" them. In one of the videos coming out, I had to do this with some vassals in Africa before I could go full infamymaxxing mode
i teested that with them as puppets and after falling to rebels too. also reloaded in between to make sure. still got declared if i had high prestige by sweden and spain @@enochinri
@@4thKaiser Well that's weird, it looks like I was wrong. I know if your military strength is sufficiently high enough people just never declare on you... That being said in this video mine definitely wasn't the biggest... I have 2 theories, either: A. The game keeps track of where your capital was at the start of the game and just goes from that (since capital positions almost never change in Vic 2) You could test this by doing the same thing with more Asian nations civilized and seeing if any Asian nations dec containment on you or (more likely) B. Paradox made parts of Anatolia part of the "European" continent despite it not being in Europe by conventional understanding. The reason they might do this is for gameplay reasons (so Greek can assimilate better when Byzboos do their runs, and Turkish nationalists can assimilate the Balkans better) Unfortunately whoever made the wiki for this game gave up on labeling continents, but the fact that all of the Anatolian provinces seem to have been created in a congruent manner to the ones in Europe makes me think this is the case: vic2.paradoxwikis.com/Provinces
b is wrong. its factchecked by looking at which continent the country shows up in the diplomacy screen (turkey with ankara capital appears in asia). anatolia is part of the asian continent. maybe the first one is true, i cant disprove it rn @@enochinri
@@enochinri It did not work. The AI still has the cb, and Britain decced me after I liberated Canada. It might just be a preference of the AI rather than a hard rule.
Heh Japanese South America. That reminds me of a challenge I posted on a Vic 2 Discord some years ago; As Japan dominate (sphere or puppet) Peru and Brazil, and build the Panama Canal. 😁 I'd say with all these cores you gained around the world, you hit a higher mark than that little challenge! I never would have guessed Japan could get such strong assimilation/migration. 🤔 I love the wackyness of coring all those strategic islands, and Argentina too my god. 😂 I might be wrong about this, but I thiiink America's Monroe Doctrine wargoal only applies to European countries. So if you're an Asian nation, South America is basically free real estate. 😏 🤫
were those colonial migrations or just normal ones that made ur culture spread so much? if oclonial, how do you achieve that, i never get ppl to migeate to colonies
This video demonstrates pretty well just how huge the difference is between full states vs colonial states. The Philippines, which I owned for a large portion of the game, barely assimilated, and stayed colonial states the whole time. Most of the other states, however, like Cyprus, and South America were full states so assimilated pretty quickly.
On the whole, I like Crimeamod, and frankly I would recommend it to anyone who finds themselves becoming bored with vanilla. The reason I don't really play many mods for Victoria 2 is because of how poorly optimized Paradox games are. I have a pretty good PC, and can reliably get through a playthrough of one nation in 4-8 hrs in Vic 2 vanilla. (Depending on how much micromanaging with wars or savescumming I do) Any sort of modded version tends to take significantly longer. For example I have a 12 hr Crimeamod Sweden game which has been sitting on my hard drive I haven't even tried editing. This is not to say I'll never edit that video, or play more mods, but it just takes time, and right now I am focusing on being consistent with uploads.
@@enochinri >i have a pretty good PC it's ok to admit you have a sudaca tier computer... i have one too i try to work around it by playing victoria 2 like a RTS pausing is for tryhards
