This song was absolute madness!!! What were your thoughts? (And for those of you who are new to the channel the random flashes in my videos come from my old laptop trying to render a large file)
Listening to IM is an amazing rollercoaster of emotions. It just helps me find the contrast in life and remember when I AM sad that life is so rich and that sadness is not forever
Wait what? No one dies Infected Mushroom reacts! These guys are so crazy and full of energy and I can’t even define their genre. They have quite a few albums and have been around awhile!
It was the middle of Australian summer, I'd never heard of IM but somehow wandered into their tent at a festival in 2010. They played this and it was absolutely bonkers
I discovered this song a decade ago as a kid and damn it still sounds epic as f*ck , thanks for all these masterpiece Infected Mushroom Thanks for the react it was fun I enjoyed it
SERIOUSLY Check out Heavyweight, is from the same album and it's probably one of their best track period, Project 100 is another bombastic tune too, someone's already mentioned The Messenger, and also Dancing With Kadafi, but Heavyweight's the one to go to first I reckon.
@@internetuser8922 One of my fav IM tracks, but I completely forgot about it, I used to listen to IM the Supervisor album so much when I was younger, such a great album, Cities of the Future is amazing too, but yeah Stretched is definitely a great choice.
Infected Mushroom are musical geniuses. Most of their stuff are like onions with all the layers they got. While still retaining that unique "Infected" theme/sound of duality.
You will be the first one reacting to Infected Mushroom since there is no videos like nobody seems to know them but they are so good like fcking react to them!!
My fav by them is Heavyweight. Would love to see you react to Lucid Planet - Organic Hard Drive, similar genre mixing but a little more prog rock than electronic.
Special Place, Nutmeg, The Messenger 2012, Muse Breaks Rmx, Saeed, Project 100, Ani Mevushal, Milosh, Send Me an Angel...so so many more.... I've lost many hours melting into Infected Mushroom's vibes
Oh boy, here we go. If I may make a recommendation, an old favorite directly tangent to this is Jorg on Mushroom's "The Messenger". It's Infected Mushroom with Jorg Kessler. I see it incrorectly attributed to Shpongle, but it's that type of lunatic Goa/trance/psych mash up. You'd love it.
Sorry, but somewhere around 3 min into this video, I was thoroughly convinced that the dude in the red shirt.... *knew* this was a cool song, but... *totally* forgot how cool it actually was, and started reacting almost like it was *his* first time hearing it. 😂
Time once again to recommend "The Dear Hunter - A Night on the Town." Their discography is a series of acts that tells a really amazing narrative. A Night on the Town is a great example of the variety of sounds and textures and influences they incorporate into their music. I think you'd love it.
Would love to see some reactions to more infected mushroom. They're my absolute favorite electronic band. Return to The Sauce is my favorite album. Songs like Manipulator, and Nutmeg would be cool to see.
My first time hearing IM i remember being so intrigued by the language they were speaking - parts of it sounded vaguely Spanish, but then there were guttural, throat-y sounds like in Arabic or Hebrew and parts that sounded vaguely Russian. Sure enough, turns out it was Romanian, the only Eastern European Romance language, descended from Latin like Spanish or Italian but spoken with a Russian-like Eastern Europe accent, and for centuries was occupied by the Arabic speaking Ottoman Empire.
I've assumed you've listened to shpongle before. If not, you gotta do it! Divine moments of truth or my head feels like a frisbee. Infected mushroom is fun, much better when you dance though. Emancipator is another great electronicish act, with beautiful fiddle
Loved seeing your reactions!! Be sure to check out the likes of “Heavyweight” and “Vicious Delicious” (the title track off this album) if you want more like this
You should check out Tipper. He’s on a similar level with out-there sound design but he tends to stick with more hip hop style beats and tempos. He also does some ambient style tracks.
Well guys if you dig this, why don't you check IGORRR? yeah, that's right IGORRR with 3 r's. Death metal plus techno plus classical singing plus growling plus god knows what.... I recommend 'Downgrade desert' or 'Opus brain' or 'Himalaya Massive Ritual' for the first listening. And don't try to understand lyrics - they invented their own language to better fit their music, lol...
They also have a few side bands, of which I like project called 'Corpo mente', which is more mellow but equally good. My recommendation for that band would be 'Arsalein', 'Ort' or 'Dorma'. Enjoy!
