Hey up Lads and Lasses, new to the channel is Infinite Lagrange. I will be covering this game from now on with a video every Thursday. Walkthroughs, Guides, Tips and Tricks is what my channel is about
and I will be applying the same here to Infinite Lagrange. Hope you enjoyed this video I'll get more out in the future and some with a bit more gameplay elements especially when covering the ships and fleets.

So, you can only get a certain of total ships per day, but you can liason with another outpost and pick up more than 2 of a type if the other location at the station, assuming it has more than one location to liase with.

Even if you have leveled up the temporary BP from a dock, it does not affect the ones you buy from a trading post.

Yeah I sort of expected this. That's a shame as that made them a bit more viable at least. Maybe I'll bring this up with the devs as even that change would be beneficial.

For the outpost vs trade port ships the bp for the outpost ships are completely separate. So you don’t get xp for outpost ships if you run tradeport. Even when you have them in a fleet it separates the ships like star sweeper and star sweeper TE

those bcs are decent imo, when facing it, it tends to melt down xenostingers(mine are maxxed) and support ships like guardians. they're like glass cannons though, my eternals can kill them in a few seconds

I literally can’t get a nice aircraft carrier blueprint so i have to improvise by using Crasher - aircraft transports and it’s pretty good because it can carry 3 medium aircraft’s, and it’s better than my ceres because it consumes alot of command points when i use 5 or more ceres destroyers.

Those XT-8s are interesting - the Landing Ship is basically a worse, un-upgradeable Mare Nubium, while the Missile Survey is actually a reasonable competitor - but unupgradeable - for MareTranquilitatis. Unfortunately, both of those are basically useless BPs to begin with. The XT-20 Aircraft is really nice actually, since it brings 4 large fighter bays to the table. 14 points for one of these and 4 fighters is pretty good value compared to KCCPV's 2 fighters or the 40 points for 5 fighters and 3 corvettes in a CV3k.

Just a small note on fighters. The Small Fighters are basically interceptors or air superiority fighters, their primary purpose is shooting down other aircraft (why is it "aircraft" in space??) and can't do shit against capitals. Medium Fighters can be called multi-role, attackers, or fighter-bombers, cause they can perform both A2A duties and attack capitals. Janbiya and Strix being examples of great attackers, except Strix can only handle Corvettes. And obviously the Large fighters are Bombers. Finally it seems that squadron size goes from 5 > 3 > 2 for Small Medium and Large.

Yeah all noted when I talk about them in the fighter rankings. Also the interceptors aren't truly interceptors, not all of them are anti air. Also not a clue why they're called aircraft, same time though I got no idea what they would be called.

i wish the devs made an outpost ships a blueprints for the generic files to make the generic file worth pulling with just 10k ue coins and increase the chance of 0.01% to 2.00% for the frigs destroyer and for the cruiser and BC will be 1.11% and ofcourse fighters and corvt will be 3.00% (just wanted to make the generic files useful if you dont have much proxima like me)

Yeah I believe server 4 servers got merged in total again.

@@Damphyre with so many people and unions in one system, its gets harder to get high occupancy and hold the gate. My hope for phase 3 was that they would shuffle the pot and not just cram us together with more people.

Could you do a review on temporary blueprint(TE) ships? I find it not worth to put my base there as most of them don't have plentiful resources nearby but I'm not sure i should.

No matter what trading post I go to, I can only liase. Are there prerequisites to trading ships or do I just have to get lucky with liaising?

Have you tested xt-20 cost wise they're more efficient than ceres

TBH most of these need some help to be anywhere near relevant, just like the TE blueprints. I guess if we're REAAALLY stretching it, a niche for the Crasher - Armed Transport is if your mining fleets are getting harassed, you put this in instead of AC721 Logistics - 50 armor is something, I guess. Or maybe if you want to sink all your AC721 TechPoints into the Ion variant, thi i replacement bulk storage, something like that.

The outpost ships that you can build (once docked) can only gain exp while you remain docked. Once you relocate, the fun's over.

@@Damphyre Most are, yes. But the NOMA is amazing. It's worth it to get 10 of these and immediately upgrading them.

yup I am one of the unlucky ones.. been over a month.. only had one cruiser pull and no bc nor carriers.. with 900 military cap

If I reset the tech points from the main gun of a ship, and put them in his secundary gun does it work while on combat?

sorry but the Star Sweeper cannot hold a candle compared to the Io. It's main cannon deals less damage, and has a shorter firing duration, although a sllightly shorter intervall too, but that does not compensate for the sheer power of the Viggo Dual ion cannon (Star Sweepers Ion is also dual so you can compare the two quite well). The two tings it has going for it,: It is a midrow ship, instead of front row, and potentially has a better airdefense. But overall it lacks a bit in firepower, not only from it's main cannon, but also because it does not sport the same secondary missile launcher as the Io does.

Err sure it can look at its strategy again. It basically has the same strategy as the callisto, which is far better that Io's strategy.

Haha yeah. Got the reset of the purchasable things on phase 3 so decided to grab some. See if I can get some more blueprints of ships to talk about on the channel, so far no luck 😅

thanks alot that was very helpful ❤️ ... i rly wish if they can make mining platforms immunes to pvp because it's quiet ridiculous to go on truce and sleep then wake up to find that the enemies destroyed your mining platforms i rly hope if u can ask the devs to improve pvp system and add more rules to just discipline pvp chaos lot's of servers gone dead because of that u lose then it's unplayable specially if they blockage the area around ur base while ur utilities are inside it's over and toxic with alot of terrorist Acts

Errr that's one of my unions main tactics. Knock out your mining operations and bleed you dry, it's our only way of competing with larger unions. If you're worried about losing mining platforms use a defense fleet on them or set up a blockade.

@@Damphyre From my experience of fighting Rodina this way, be prepared to semi-permanently reside in the graveyard. Might sound like a bad thing, but if you stash your advanced platforms far enough away, you can be a very anoying little pest :)

Attacking your opponents supply is not only one of the most basic tactics in this game but in real warfare as well.

@@Damphyre There was on guy on discord begging the devs to not announce server maintenance because "it's unfair that enemies launch attacks before the shutdown and I cant go online to stop them." He got called out, tried to say it was "cowardly" to launch attacks near server downtime, others pointed out all the counters and he just went quiet.

Xt 20 has a fighter carrier variant. A corvette carrier variant. And the support cruiser variant. Xt 10 has at least 2 variant with 1 being a torp destroyer. And then the 2 xt8 types he covered in the video. Have only seen the support xt 20 in privater fleets though.

I watched it again and you have the escorts xt20 in the level 3 and and the aircraft xt20 in the level 7. Looks like it might be random what level gets what.

Yes, I just wanted to write the same. There is an escort version of the XT-20 which can carry 4 corvettes instead of 4 large aircraft. :)

How can you talk about Boreas and not mention it's ignoring first row while attacking back row instead? That is a great tactical advantage Ragers and Reapers can't keep up.

CP cost still puts the boreas behind them tbh. The rager especially has the best dpm per CP making it the most efficient. Also when I tested the boreas that ignore front row didn't seem to work properly.

@@Damphyre BTW I had a dock with Helios and get it's BP up to lvl30 then undock and liaised new Helios... It's basically different BP. It even create different groups of 8 and 10 if you have both (liaised and created while docked) at the same time (liaised BP have 2 more possible ships in service and don't share BP)

The thing about crit chances and ignore armor etc. Those don’t seem to have any real effect. I felt like there is only one dude writing code and fixing bugs. And he is busy with adding new ships, no time to fix all the existing bugs. AA still bugged; some abilities have no real effect; weapon description mentioned missile interception but during testing this ability doesn’t exist; dodge chances and reduced missile hit rate function more like a straightforward damage reduction as no chance is involved, 25% dodging means taking 25% less damage per hit, no lucky dodge or lucky hit.

Evasion works properly. Are you basing this off what you see in battle? What the game shows you in battle isn't accurate. Even the tactical screen is off at times, the only thing that can be trusted is which enemy is being targeted, and when a strategy is in effect.

@@SuwinTzi no I’m basing this on the time it need to kill the same ship with evasion 10 times. The time took to kill the same ship is almost identical, which suggests the evasion doesn’t work like evasion but more of damage reduction. If evasion is evasion, then depends on high or low rolls, the time takes to kill the same ship will vary a bit.
