The part about Tails's staying captured and having his body modified or damaged and used with the Phantom Ruby to create Infinite is kinda scary to me I don't know why

I want to add that if you look closely on infinite hair you can notice that it does not come from his head, it comes from behind his mask, it could be that hair in tails forehead. Also this theory could explain the glitchy aura on infinite and the fact that tails cant get any data from him.

Adding on to this: It would explain how Infinite dodged sonic's attack, After all, he has seen it enough times to know how to.

I think there is another line you might have forgot "take a look around you and tell me what you really see" because sonic doesn't know that tails is (possibly) infinite and he wants to show sonic what happened to him throughout the years.

I totally agree with you,cause when I look of INFINITE makes me think of tails,also INFINITE has tails,and he says you may call me INFINITE,that means INFINITE is someone familiar to Sonic.

In the leak rumor, they did say we've seen Infinite before now, but it's not what we are expecting. I wouldn't expect this at all especially with the GameGear tie in.
