I have found that facial expression plays a big part in this. The blank faced INFJ stare is unnerving to others, while one done with positive facial expressions the opposite. Thus I present positive facial expressions all the time, and am perceived totally differently now by others.😂
That cold stare is perfect, it keeps people at distance, it protect me, so less chance they hurt me. 😅🧊❄Warm Gaze at people, Cold Stare at things maybe. What I like with Ni, is the relation with the subconscious/unconscious, I understand dreams enough well. And it's relation with he time. It's like a time travel, portals and wormholes.
Liking these shorter videos. I think we rely, maybe too much, on "gazing" to consciously/subconsciously observe, learn and understand the people we are with, as INFJs. I had a salutary lesson regarding this when I was in the company of my daughter and her friend (autistic/ADHD). I had to keep stopping myself from continuously gazing at the friend. It was an interesting experience.
Ren, your energy recently appears to be exuding a bit of blissfulness & joy, perhaps it’s evident to myself you are tapping into some kind of guru balance.
I personally don't put too much stock into the Myers-Briggs system, there is definitelly value in it but I feel people often rely too much on it. On the tests I did in the past I always get INTJ with the T element usually being the closest to 50% mark, so I guess I would be somewhere on the edge of these two types. And I can say that I do stare a lot. And when I am not staring at people, it's only because I am concerned about staring too much. 😀 If that wasn't a concern, I would just stare at people all the time, I think it's just my natural state of being. Observing and analyzing people as well as objects. How else could you hope to understand them.
Take a look at cognitive functions (core of MBTI): INFJ have Ni-Fe-Ti-Se, INTJ have Ni-Te-Fi-Se, so you should think about whether you have Fe-Ti or Te-Fi. Tests are often inaccurate.
@@Quidquid-Latine-dictum-sit Thanks for the tip. I have rediscovered some of the finer details I have forgotten and learned some new facts as well and I think Ni-Te fits much better for me, which would support the actual test resluts. But I have also rediscovered my biggest problem, or maybe I should say a part I don't understand yet. I assume, that all of the personalities lie on a spectrum. I base this assumption first on the fact that this is true for almost everything in the universe and second on the fact that when you do the test, the results are actually shown as a spectrum. Now I will continue with this assumption, and I'll try to apply it to an example. Person A gets INTP result with the P being 49.9% on the spectrum. Their functions are Ti-Ne-Si-Fe. Person B gets an INTJ result with J being 50.1% on the spectrum. Now we can see that even though the realistic difference between the two cases is just 0.2%, all of the second peson's functions are completely different and in different order - Ni-Te-Fi-Se. I just can't wrap my head around this. The two people have almost identical results, yet their functions and personality are presumably completely different. How does a 0.2% difference flip all your functions to their exact opposites? I have tried to look it up in the past, but I never found anything, which feels really weird, because it is such an obvious question, that just pops into your head 30 seconds after first discovering the dynamic between J-P and the cognitive functions. If anyone has enough knowledge to explain this to me, I would be grateful.
Is it strange that I deliberately show expression while listening to someone speak to me so my gaze doesn’t make them feel uncomfortable ? 😅Bc it happens..
Probably the reason why I scare dogs. Even the loudest barker get shut as soon as I employ my death stare. Much the same with people , I keep them at a distant as a result.
