Does it ever feel like the pain from the past is something we’ll never escape from?
No matter how much we try to move forward, those painful memories keep creeping back, pulling us into a spiral of overthinking and heartache, making us relive the hurt all over again.
It’s exhausting, isn’t it? Especially for INFJs, who carry so much emotional depth and often have so much healing to do. I get it. I’ve been there, and I know how draining it can be to feel stuck in this endless cycle of reliving the pain and never fully breaking free.
If you’re feeling trapped on this emotional hamster wheel, spinning in circles but never moving forward, then this video is for you.
Today, I’m opening up about one crucial thing I was doing to myself that kept me from truly healing. It was keeping me in a place of emptiness, unable to find the fulfillment or purpose I craved.
Join me today for a deeply personal and thought-provoking discussion. You’re not alone in this journey, and together, we can start finding a way out of the pain.

It really takes as long as it needs to take, healing is a very deep process with a lot of layers. And it will continue until we have healed all we need to heal and learned all we needed to learn.

I went no contact with my parents a few months ago after a traumatic event last year. I feel you. It does get easier. Keep seeking tips, help, guidance and trying out strategies. Mindfulness is important. I had intolerable, constant anxiety at first that was beyond me. A brief stint in therapy gave me a practice that has alleviated that. Im still healing, I suffer with fatigue, so its slow, im isolated now (good & bad sides to that) and I know therell be more to deal with from them, doesnt help but it is what it is. Be patient with yourself, have faith. I gave myself a year out. This next year will be dedicated to getting back into art, (my past profession and something to look forward to), and when I feel ready, building new friendships. I go slowly, I was shaken to the core, I believe Ill know if im ready sooner- if I suspect im stalling out of undue fear, then I test the waters. I just have no tolerance for toxicity of any kind anymore and its kinda rife out there. Im better than I was last year, and Ill be better next year than this, however long it takes, do it just to spite the bstrds!

Could you do a video on INFJs who can’t forgive themselves for a past action/accident that hurt an innocent person that was truly horrible and they can’t get past the regret. What seems to make things worse is when others know the INFJ is tormented by the event but say the INFJ is overreacting.

Shit childhood in many ways. But also good in other ways. I delete negative people who try and hurt me in similar ways. It’s very hard to do being an introverted empath. But the peace is outa this world ❤

Sounds like my mom. I was always “ too sensitive “. If you rocked the boat or voiced hurt you’d be demonized and it’d be spread throughout the family.

"They didn't mean to hurt us" Yeah, well, in my case, they did mean it. If I knew they didn't then it would be easier to heal from that. What are you to do in cases where they were deliberately malicious? How do you move on from that?

I do choose to believe that not everyone that has hurt me did it on purpose. If I believed that they did, and everyone was bad and out to get me I would find myself in a vary dark place full of exhausting hurt and hatred. And I don't want to live like that. We can't control others, but what we can control is our selves and the choices we make. Hurt is a journey, it takes time to heal, to find the strength of forgiveness, and push on to better things. Now, I am not saying just because we forgive we accept them back into our lives to continue to hurt us. We forgive and move on without them. Once I've been hurt, then a boundary has been crossed and I no longer allow them into my life. So you need to figure out what you need in order to find forgiveness to heal and move on. Perhaps it's a change of thought, yeah they hurt us, and maybe they intended to do it. We can't control that, but we can control is not allowing them to continue to hurt us by allowing ourselves to relive that hurt daily. It's a very big topic to unpack. And everyone's journey to healing is different. I don't know if that helped you or not, hope it did help at least a bit. Have a fantastic day.
