Nah, with time you learn that relationships are more complicated than that. If you want to leave your partner after they cheated, good for you. But if you think a 1 time think like in this case, can be resolved, then also go ahead with it. Ok I digged into this story further. Boba girl's father is pretty rich and has connection with chinese Olympic association. She got admitted in that prestigious university with her gymnast quota. Her billionaire husband was divorced and his ex wife still works in his company. It is common for Chinese billionaires to have a mistress. Boba girl knew what what she was getting into by marrying that father figure husband. Their family was making a dynasty.

You know what if it works for her then good for her I guess. Girl knows what she wants and perhaps when her own assets are high enough for her liking she would ask for a divorce or maybe she could care less about him having a mistress seeing how he is old enough to be her dad maybe she is more than happy if someone takes care of his needs instead of her. She also has a kid now so she must protect their interest too.

Yeah a professor student relationship def has an imbalanced power dynamic. Some people think she'd "too smart to be groomed", but I disagree. Her prefrontal cortex would not have been developed enough to regulate her thoughts, actions and emotions as well as he could, and his extra intelligence and experience could've been his leg up on her. her response reminds me of that video going around where a wife reacts to learning her husband cheated by saying that it’s fine, because they’re just going to have an open marriage. that wife said something along the lines of “we’re going to stay together, we’re going to have a beautiful life together, raise our beautiful children and run this house together as we initially planned. but we’re just going to do our thing romantically. because that is what you wanted”. that energy isn’t exactly the same as bobas but i think that’s what she was kind of getting at. she’s going to stay with her husband, keep the money, her business, her family together, her position and her power, and as long as she has that she doesn’t care. whatever that man does outside of that doesn’t impact her, since she still has an amazing life with or without his “love”

This all happened in Minneapolis btw Edit: My boyfriend lived 2 levels above the girl that claimed to be raped. she is definitely smart and strong. she probably kept the marriage for her children and their future (mother & children), as she's involved with the company, she probably knew the implications of what happened. i like that she calls out what her husband did as stupid and not gloss over it and i like that she doesn't tolerate or answer her husbands cheesiness or antics on socmed when she doesn't feel like it. i just love her no nonsense talk. some people are just built differently, cheating is a deal breaker for some but when a lot of things are involved, you set aside your heart for the greater good of the people around you. i'm hoping the husband he'l keep getting the treatment he deserves from her in their private life and really repents.

I absolutely love that there are similar sayings or anecdotes for every culture. As an African American woman in Atlanta my parents raised my brothers and I with the saying “Don’t go outside putting your business on front street”…which is the same, as don’t go outside, telling everybody what’s going on inside your house 👀🤫. Which was oddly enough, was very difficult for my ex-husband, who is white, to understand that phrase, he just did not get it and could not understand what the big deal was….if someone has to explain it, it’s already over your head.

What I am guessing is most successful people especially married once are in the mindsets that someday some sort of scandal will broke out especially easily about cheating because so many people are after their money or success. So she understands that. If she easily gives divorce that means their enemies succeeded and both will loose their business first, reputation and their entire family future will be impacted heavily that they worked so hard for. Also there are times behind the curtain both know their marriage is not what it looks on the screen so these types of scandals are shock for people but not for the family. There are many couples stay together for different reasons and dates others while they are married and their spouse knows it but they are together under same roof for many different reasons.

if he cheated, she left him internally. she is probably a shareholder. and the money earned was a lot. she was probably trying to save that and the connections we dont know that she has. if thats the case, she is doing it for her own benefits. a "man" dressing up as a woman. if a man would have done this, thry would say he is smart for not letting a woman keeping all the money instead of taking it.
