There was a "famous" guy who was complaining and saying that they shouldn't be teaching ppl about WW2 because it gave him anxiety. Homie be shiverin' when taking a shit on the bathroom
isn't htat like all the reason why germany censored anything realeted with their old goody haldof?, beacuse is a national shame..... yet any contry teach about their upsi in ww2, what is the point of cencored it?
I wouldn't wish the "influencer lifestyle" on anyone. Your entire existence and livelihood is based on validation of others. They're not even living for themselves, they're living for the clout and cash. They're surrounded by people who are like them and people who want to be like them. They're not even original... they're caricatures of the previous wave of social influencers. And when their fans get past their early teens, the next wave of teens will have a new wave of idols. And all these "Hype House" types will finally have to learn to live for themselves. And what a sad, sobering and humbling experience that will be. I just hope they don't go the way of 90s/00s kid stars and end up with addictions or worse, dead.
This is what i think about too and it pains me when they say things like "Fuck a 9-5 , College, etc “ yet their lives are based on what your saying along with Muta. theres little self awareness among Them
@Football Icons - same reason a lot of people in MSM and such call guys in their early 20s that get in shootouts with cops "kids". 1. - There is always an agenda 2. - Normal people have an understanding that kids make mistakes and need protected 3. - Calling them "kids" generally adverts any criticism and gives these morons a pass for their abhorrent behaviours Basically the teams of people behind these online brands know full well calling someone a kid works. The better question is: what is the motivation of the people behind the influencers? It seems to be money
penguinz0 anyone? In all fairness cr1tikal doesn't engage in drama o comments too much on it nearly as much as Mutahar and yet Mutahar still doesn't keep anything for himself, so hats off to SOG.
dark.demon .queen I mean that’s just how it is some people are blind as in they don’t see the bad things that will become and it is what it is just gotta hope that this generation becomes a good generation and not just a a era filled with dumb fucks
@@dankreality_lol6804 I'm pretty sure water is a liquid because if urine is classified as a liquid and we all say water is wet, then is urine, blood, acids and stuff all wet too? Because they all be some dope liquids. Liquids are liquids rawr.
GAGAGAGAGAAGAG this is wonderful! PRANK! It is terrible! I looked in the mirror and saw something UNPRETTY: my face. GAGAGAGAG! But I am happy again because I have TWO HOT GIRLFRIENDS and I make cool YT videos with them! Good evening, love and peace, dear quebec
They say that they are "humble" "Love" all their fans, "Doing good in society" when they're just egotistical braggers irl and on the web and convicing others to simp over them, always playing the victim, manipulative etc, tsss what a dumb strategic way to get money and attention..
Lmao, "Doing good in society?". All the self-proclaimed influencers on RU-vid that i have seen are all money grubbing whores who milk their fans and doing cringy ass videos that are so cancerous it makes watching The Room and Plan 9 seems like a luxury. I have more respect for Tommy Wiseau and Ed Wood's work than these so called "influencers"'s content.
A lot of "influencers" that I see on the trending page and those that are from tiktok are just pure cringe and their audience is shallow preteens that will facepalm themselves remembering they liked these ppl and their fake content and drama. Their careers are not based on good content or outstanding and unique personality but kids that admire and dream for their aesthetic lifestyles, connections and just for show relationships. The simple reasoning and mindset behind following these influencers usually is "O, looks cool. I *wish I had that* . Their older/around my age. This is what a cool person is. This will be me one day. I must follow ect". Which is fine and normal. Kids can like what they like. The problem is when these ppl that are being idolized for their lifestyle start doing irresponsible bs like partying during a pandemic for example. I really think some of them might care more about their new found careers and the glam that came with it more than their young followers who got them there.
After reading your comment I remembered that "trending" thing existed. Checked again right now and it's there! I just never click to go into that pile of garbage.
I remember wanting to be a RU-vidr when I was younger. I looked at how much work actually needed to go into play and decided against it. Greatest thing I have ever done.
I don't mind "influencers" who actually have a life and a job outside of social media. If your going to be an "influencer" at least keep that ego on the low and get a real job or something to keep you going when that influencer job collapses.
I don't mind people living through streaming or videos. That holier-than-thou attitude is what sucks and suddenly thinking your opinions are somehow smarter or more important.
Or advocate for a cause or something! I follow a few people/accounts that post about the environment and different outdoor trips, hikes, and all that. I really enjoy their content because they do a good job of including actually useful information and spreading the beauty of the natural world around us. I’m already pretty active, but their stuff inspires me to get out even when I don’t initially feel up to it. And I have an awesome time! THATS the kind of influence that makes a difference. Not the annoying ass people promoting a juice cleanse.
Yeah like I’m fine with Hyram, the Welsh brothers, and their like. They actually educate you about the thing that they influence and give you info about what might be good for you if you are interested in their area of “expertise”.
Not every person with a following that makes money online and doesn't work a 9 to 5 is a self-obsessed douchebag. PewDiePie is one of the most humble content creators I've ever seen and he doesn't work a "real job". Some people who work "real jobs" can still be complete assholes, too. It isn't what you do to make a living that makes the person, it's the personality you already have before getting that successful that does. I know broke people who are dickheads. Do mainstream celebrities need to work "real jobs" ? No. They can still be kind and humble, though. I don't get this mindset.
RU-vid is a real job, in fact anytime you get payed for doing something, that was a job. You're just jelous because they make more than you, and it doesn't take them learning a trade, knowing in-depth knowladge beyond a setup, or for them to have much of a personality, something you yourself could never achieve, thus is why you are more salty than a winter road in the suburbs. Probably work a basic job, with a less than satisfying paycheck to match the even less satisfying life that bears with it. Grab the pickaxes, because we have found the greatest of salt mines.
It didn’t take them long to flock like sheep towards another tik tok alternative... Trill ;-; We also have to deal with all of this shit thanks to VINE... -.-
"We don't make mistakes, just happy accident" As said by Bob Ross. Well, Bob, I think these people are the saddest of happy accidents I've seen in recent history.
I remember there was a video of an "Influencer" who lost her Instagram account then made a video crying and begging her followers to get it back. She literally said in the video that she can't work because she doesn't have any skill. That's all you need to know about these people.
"influencer" has to be one of the most F'd-up terms and lifestyle choices that kids would want to aspire to be. It kinda makes me think of MLM's in certain ways... you sell your soul to advertise for companies... to be a walking billboard. The media these days peddles a "get rich for sitting on your ass and doing nothing" kind of ethos to work, rather than having any meaningfull contribution to society.
If I ever upload videos, It's just for fun, even when i was like 11, I just wanted to share funny stuff and small gameplays, i don't understand what's so fun In the whole "Influencer" kind of deal. it's weird.
"Influencer" lost it's meaning. Back during my few months in marketing school we used the term influencer only for people who do product placements and advertising for our product on social media. Since people didn't know any other terms for those people they decided to simply call them all influencers, despite it being a term only used in marketing. Maybe it's different in the US....
You're forgetting the best part about influencers: when they have a meltdown online over petty trivial shit, "literally shaking and crying right now". For some you could suspect it's fake and for views / virtue signalling but when it's real, oh boy it's real.
Remember that time when the BBC did some investigative reporting on influencers and wanted to see if these people A: Didn't read what they were promoting, B: Just did it for the money C: Or just didn't care, as long as they got money by the end of it by seeing if they were willing to promote a "health drink" that had cyanide as one of its active ingredients? and they still promoted it. The fucking drink had the name "Cyanora" and they still promoted it.
@@Ayeato my children have my log in to browse RU-vid but it's to make sure they don't follow/watch shite like this. Edit: I say "have my log in", but that's poorly worded. They're logged in on their tablets by me. They mostly watch football vids. My eldest is learning code, so he watches a RU-vidr that teaches it. And my youngest uses it when she's stuck at a point in whatever Lego game she's playing at the current time.
@@n0odles86 btw when your kids are teenagers, or if they already are. dont be so controlling on what they cant watch, let them have their own accounts and watch what they want, its not a parents buisness once a kid is a teenager. but who am i to tell you what to do
Damn Muta you are calling out this ome person who tried canceling me on facebook for me telling them to find a better job when they complained about it all the time
Honestly the fact that tons of influencers thought it was okay to go to a massive party during a pandemic and also post about it just baffles me. How do you not think about the backlash??? 🤨
"Influencer" just basically screams "professional bullshitter" to me, as do terms like "marketer" or "real-estate agent" or "Politician" The only difference is that the latter three actually have valid careers with a base salary. Influencers are nothing more than a trend. When that marketing tactic ceases to work (Give it a good 5-6 years or so, you watch) they'll be SOL. Biggest piece of advice is to basically follow what you love. It'll eventually make you cash if you put 110% into it. Like, I work as a professional graphic artist and filmmaker in the commercial space, but to get there took me a solid 10yrs of freelancing, hard yards and working shitty day jobs while I poured my spare time into honing my design skills. There is absolutely no shortcut to success and even then, only the very lucky, dedicated and/or privileged ever make it to the top. If you wanna actually influence your career, dedicate hours into your work and actually have a skill worth looking up to. I got into Muta because of his Cybersecurity expertise. As a professional in that field, I trust his views on that. If you wanna be an influencer, actually git good at something. ;)
Alright. I was agreeing with what you said in the first two paragraphs. However, the moment you added the "Follow what you love and the money will come" bullshit, its a complete turn off. Sorry, boyo, but that "biggest piece of advice" of yours is not applicable to everyone. In fact, some people followed what they love but still ended up not successful. The reason is because of their lifestyle, their family, connections, and the country they live in. My case, for instance, is that I live in a third world country which means that opportunities are incredibly limited where that certain country has no future and it botched its future for more than a decade. Its easy for people (especially the individuals with a secured lifestyle/future in general) to give advice for others to "follow their passion" but the thing they dont realize is that their life is already secured the moment they are born. Other unfortunate individuals, on the other hand, force themselves to do something they are forced to do just to earn a penny. Hell, even their hard-earned pennies cant satisfy their daily hunger.
Imagine being one of those 15 yr old hypebeast dudes that spends his time on tiktok wearing his fake supreme hoodies and dancing to cringy songs with his bros.. i rather be homeless...
I really hate when someones calls normal youtubers "Influencers." it just makes people think what they are and thats people with a high following and a big ego which isnt what some of these youtubers arn't a lot make good content without the need to throw it out thinking their this high class guy . That just annoy es me it just throws the wrong message around about all youtubers Edit: And the way they just push their murch programs figures and all of that every video Buy this buy this buy this ring the bell ring the bell buy this
Fr tho, I'm an anthropology major, hoping to get a doctorate in bio anthropology.. I don't think my major is useless. It just happens to fall in the lib arts category..
@@KateYagi My university has a College of Liberal arts and Social studies. Anthropology is part of that college. But anthropology has many branches, like bio anthropology and cultural anthropology. I mostly take bio anth classes like Human Origins, which does involve some hard science. But anthropology as a whole is considered a soft science.
Agreed. I loved when earlier this year a “influencer” lost their Instagram account and complained about getting a real job. Like, get a fucking job for god’s sake it’s not that hard
What makes me sad is that a lot of decent RU-vidrs that actually had golden days and good content, turned into influencers during the RU-vid Downfall with clickbait or ridiculous video and no more cursing. (2016-Present)
I turned off my like notifications because I was so consumed by the numbers and that rush you're explaining is absolutely true. Since turning off the notifs my time on Instagram has been so much better
Technically speaking, anyone with a huge following is an "influencer" of sorts. There are people that definitely deserve the title of being a "good influence" by their mannerisms and actions, but there are a lot of people that do dumb, dangerous, or inconsiderate stuff, or the "bad influences" and use that to attract and maintain a fanbase that are too young to realize that the "funny" person doing these things is actually a selfish narcisist that only crave fame. I know that, yes, water is wet and people that call themselves influencers aren't going to instill good morals, but anyone with an audience is an influencer of sorts.
Influencer is a very vague term because preety much wveryone has an influence on other people, but i think he’s referring to social media marketing influencers. But i don’t know so I’m probably wrong. :/
I remember after I graduated college, I was so depressed that people were not liking my work and companies were not hiring me. I was worried that I will be stuck in a low paying job and stuck paying in debt for the rest of my life (I still worry about the debt alittle). Now, I am glad that I am learning more outside of school and that I need to keep moving forward no matter what. I don't worry too much about followers, likes, ect. I just want to better with my work and myself. I want to be happy in the one life I have to live on.
Omfg dude 😂 that intro rant had me dying! "Now if I struck a nerve with any of you... Good;)" and that single zoom on your face as you said good was brilliant
@@gigi_lulz It is true, though. Jokes aside, a whopping 70-odd percent of black children are born without fathers. Seriously, do yourself a favour and search it up. There is a reason why it has become a joke on Internet and a common stereotype. Plus, I am black myself. Real, born and raised in the motherland Africa, black.
I can't blame people who want to become influencers, at the end it's just money for nothing or even doing your hobbies, and that is something I am jealous of
Don't be. They're fecking miserable and always treading water. One wrong move and their life is ruined. You're better off having more respect for yourself, and work a decent job to fund your hobbies. You'll be happier and more fulfilled for it.
It's funny, I used to have a roommate who credited himself as an influencer and a social media expert. He'd keep giving me advice on ways to expand my "brand" which really mostly came down to using people and discarding them. It also didn't help that he was a very argumentative person and so many of my peers saw him as a prick. It's funny to look back at those times because I've cultivated a following on Twitch and Twitter he dreams he could get, meanwhile, I still see myself as a nobody.
just because you have so many followers on a specific social media platform does not make you an "Influencer" people follow you because they think you're great , even tho most influencers have the personality of a sock
It’s not the followers it’s just the actions of these people they do these stupid things that just set a bad vibe as in they influence others to party over a fucking virus and do these Unnecessary acts
I totally agree with you. Most of "influencers" fan base are just 9 year olds who think life is easy when they see a freaking tik toker live a good life. But in reality we all know they didn't do shit to become a so call "influencer".
what i love about this is muta is an influencer. not a diss quite the opposite actually. i love his takes on shit he speaks his mind and doesnt gaf. and that does influence us intelligent people soooo...good job, you broke it.
stan sis queen charlie damelio is A QUEEN that's the tea and i- Also i only use these emojis 💞🧚♀️💅💅💅cause i have a quirky and unique personality that literally every other fourteen year old girl has
I just wanna say this. But @SomeOrdinaryGamers is right about these influencers. I recently got into a fight with my friend from school who is a girl and was crying over tik tok getting banned. She was even complaining about her dream crushed of being an influencer too the people. She is apart of LGBTQ which I don't bother because I support people who are different sexualities but the only reason she wanted too become an influencer is just so she can make people Bi, Gay, Les, Pan, etc. Honestly I was thinking but then I was disgusted too what she wanted too become. She has problems with family which I understand and gets no support but she always wants too do what she wants and she thinks for being an influencer she can change the world. I was disgusted because then I told her some of my dreams because most of them got crushed and I moved on and try my best too find something else, but no she keeps complaining about tik tok being the way she can accomplish her dream and honestly it makes me sad for her, because she doesn't know what she is saying nor doing. After our fight she blocked me and said "Worst birthday ever, lost my friend I had for over 4 years, tik tok getting banned, my dream crushed, idk what too do." Like she blocked me so she lost me and I didn't lose her. But it makes me very disappointed on how she only thinks of only herself and what she wants for people too become from her view. I'm glad This man made a video of influencers because my friend who wants too become on is everything this dude just said about her.
@Lizbeth V. I'm apart of it too but she sees it the other way and thinks all of us should be different sexualities and not be straight it just makes me very upset.
