The Winnie The Pooh classic, reimagined by Information Society, for their 2016 album, "Orders Of Magnitude” (available March 11, 2016). Vocals by Kurt Larson and Ayria. Video produced by VJ Falcotronik.
Kurt Larson reveals: For us, the 'Heffalumps And Woozles' song is one of those great childhood memories which is half joy, half nightmare. Unlike clowns, this sequence in the 'Winnie The Pooh' show was meant to be a nightmare, but that fact makes it no less disturbing. Spanning the dimmest recesses of our childhood memories, it lurked like a fat spider of jocular terror, bouncing around in there with The Count, Gomez Adams, Gilligan, and the rest. As adults, it seemed to be in a class along with things like 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' which perfectly expressed an Orwellian sense of menace. ("They're all about!")
Now we have calmed those demons by getting the memory out there, where it can menace *you*. #HipHop50
