✅ You can get an Infraredi Flex Max using code ALEX for a 10% discount and the following link: aferg.co/infraredi - other Infraredi panels can also be bought through that link
✅ If you want the Cornet EMF reader I use, buy it here: aferg.co/cornet
Also, the sponsors of today's videos are Opti Nutra, which offers the highest quality ingredients that are created in a natural way and I personally use. Here are some of my favorite products:

✅ My previous Infraredi Max 2021 review: aferg.co/infraredi-max-review
Next up, my Infraredi Flex Max 2022 review:
✅ The Infraredi Flex Max is a new panel that's gotten a lot of hype and many people asked for this review. The 2021 Infraredi Max placed third in the 2021/2022 body comparison series so I'm expecting a lot. I will compare both panels soon as well. Infraredi claims the new panel has more power and multiwave technology, as well as a new control panel and pulsing
✅ The price of the Infraredi Flex Max is $949 but with discount code ALEX you pay $902 USD if you use this link: aferg.co/infraredi
✅ The Infraredi has three different panels, the Max, Mid, and Mini. The Mini has 60 LEDs, the Mid has 120 and the Max has the 240 LEDs. The height of the panel is 39 inches, 8.2 inches across. The Flex Max is a bit narrow, but I'd have preferred a 300 LED unit. The panel weighs 22 pounds. Modular support is available. A floor stand is available for $100 USD
✅ Wavelengths emitted are 630 nanometers (nm), 660 nm, 810 nm, 830 nm, and 850 nm, which is more than most of the competition. I've tested for these wavelengths and they do match up with my spectrometer readings, except for the 630, which has a peak of about 643 nm, which is a bit too much of a divergence
✅ Next up, there are the power output measurements - and, aligning with Infraredi's claim, there is more power in this panel than in the previous generation. The previous panel had 77 mW/cm2 and the new one emits 85 mW/cm2, as peak power. The average over 9 readings was 65 in the past and the new panel has 67 mW/cm2. Total power output is 103 Watts now, which was 97 Watts before
✅ The panel doesn't flicker. There was a bit of EMF close to the panel
✅ $ USD per LED is $3.76 and the $ USD per Watt is $8.75 USD - both figures are outstanding but less good than the previous generation
✅ Operations are okay but not perfect, as the power plug is up high, for instance. The set button on the control panel also activates the lights, which is confusing. Nice plusses are the dimmer mode and the pulsing. The pulsing is slightly harder to setup though but you can go quickly
✅ In comparison to other Infraredi panels, the Mid and Mini are smaller but offer less value
✅ Then, there's the comparison to the competition. The Joovv Solo is much more expensive and the Infraredi Flex Max is better all-round. The MitoPRO 1500 is a tough competitor though, which is a bit larger but also has more LEDs and total Wattage. The same is true for the BioMax 900
✅ Overall, the outcome of my Infraredi Flex Max Review or Infrared Flex Max 2022 Review is that it's an extremely solid panel. The control panel and overall power could be better, but I'm nitpicking a bit though. The wideness is also a small turnoff, although perspective is very important for that decision

Luckily I found a 15% discount voucher on the internet for infraredi and got the flex max for 764€ with free shipping! It's not the widest panel but for that price point it's outstanding! Yeah as T S said - you don't wont to be right up against the panel. Typically 6 inches - and sometimes even a bit further back - is better from a light dispersion point of view. Plus you're still getting extremely high levels of light at 6 inches with these new panels. I'll keep checking EMF levels, and be sure to report on any really bad readings.

Not yet tried the Flex Max as doubtful about its weight on a door, so ordered a floorstand which came with a nut missing, of only four tiny nuts & bolts to take whole weight of panel. Local hardware store couldn't match the nut, & a trek into town to popular store most likely to have it means standing for ages waiting to be served... find standing quite difficult. I preordered the panel (before manufacture) which came straight from China to UK in much sturdier packaging -- encased in thick dense foam -- than the flimsy box shown in your video.

Hey. Yeah I'll have to do a video on this. Make sure you get something with plenty of NIR light - especially 810nm. AND something with pulsing. As pulsed NIR light seems to be quite beneficial for the brain. In fact the Infraredi panels could be well suited here - as they use 810, 830 and 850nm light AND have the pulsing function built in. I'll be sure to do more research and cover this topic in more :)

Hi Alex, I have question about dispersion - I am still getting a pronounced polka-dot effect at 6 inches away from this panel. I have to stand about 18 inches away before the light blends uniformly. Perhaps this is due to the narrow 30 degree lenses. Would it be better to stand closer with the polka-dots and shadows or further away with better dispersion? Would appreciate if you could share your thoughts on this please? Thanks.
@AlexFergusdotcom
@AlexFergusdotcom Год назад
Unfortunately I don't know the answer to this. We know there are systemic benefits to RLT - so maybe it doesn't matter if some of the light is concentrated in one area? The problem with standing at 18 inches if you receive a MUCH lower intensity. So that needs to be kept in consideration. Personally I stand around 6 inches from my BioMax and that still has a 'polka-dot' effect. It's not until you get out to 12 inches before you see this stop.
@Greenlands51
@Greenlands51 Год назад
I've been standing 6 inches away from my panel now for a couple of weeks and I can feel the effects are much better compared to when I was standing 12 inches away for the same time. I think concentrated light for systemic benefits wins over even dispersion for me.

I just got one of these. I really like the design, especially for the pulsing feature. I have a light path as well and it is much easier to set the infraredi at desired frequency and have it come on without having to set it each time like the light path. There is some interesting research on 40hz Gamma for brain health. You can also set that frequency by going up instead of down, and that is very fast, plus it stays there even when you turn it off and on. It is a bit narrower than my Biomax 900 but I will probably use both together so I can get the frequency treatment on top of the power of the Biomax. I also really prefer having a remote control on the Infraredi vs Biomax touch panel. Good review, but you should have put batteries in the remote. ;)

Hi Alex, from your experience, what would an estimate of of RED irradiance and NIR irradiance be if they are used separately? If there is an equal amount of bulbs (RED/NIR) it should still have higher irradiance at RED, since the energy of shorter wavelengths is higher than for longer wavelengths - right? I am really interested in an estimate as I am preparing to mimic the Omnilux Professional protocol (NIR first week, RED next week, NIR next 3 weeks). Thanks so much for any input

Hi Alex, thank you for your excellent reviews. The Infraredi current pricing makes their panel very compelling. Two questions? 1. I thinking about purchasing 1 or 2 Max panels now, but ultimately having 4 max panels. However, I'm concerned that 4 Max panels might trip my 15 amp circuit breaker. Do you know how many amps one 1200 LED watt class Max panel consumes (power consumption watts and Amps@110v)? NOTE: It seems the BioMax 600 watt panel has similar power output as the Infraredi Max, and they list their power consumption so I know four BioMax 600 panels will work. 2. BioMax doesn't offer pulsing, but Infraredi does. What's the benefit? Can you explain or provide a link to information about pulsing? Again, thanks for the reviews and the excellent comparison spreadsheet.
@AlexFergusdotcom
@AlexFergusdotcom Год назад
Hi Joe. Thanks for the comments. Sorry I don't have the data to answer your question about the Amps. I looked on their site but it doesn't have the technical specs. I could check the wattage draw on my device, but it would be at 240V - though it may still give you some guidance? I can check this data and get back to you. But you may want to reach out to Infraredi and ask them. I'm sure they will have all the info on hand. My biggest issue with the Flex is the width - even with 2 of these side by side, you're not going to get full shoulder to shoulder coverage (unless you are a smaller guy?) I kind of touch on it in the video, but in hindsight I wish I put more emphasis on this. I was a bit surprised by how narrow the Flex panels where tbh. One may argue that you really need 6 of these to create a full body 'array' for instance. Pulsing - I personally don't use it and am starting to think it's a bit of a gimmick. Andrew LaTour has some excellent articles on the topic: aferg.co/RLT-flicker-pulsing-1 aferg.co/RLT-flicker-pulsing-2 aferg.co/RLT-flicker-pulsing-3
@joenovosel9295

Hi Alex, I did as you suggested and learned that the Flex Max consumes 493w@3.24A. I also think you're right about the width. Both are big factors! I don't want to be throwing the circuit breaker and wider is better.

@mikedaniels6395 Год назад

Question about the issue with width, wouldn´t the strength (mW/cm2) of these panels negate that somewhat? If you can sit just slightly further away due to the high strength the dispersion of light will cover a wider/taller area? 2x of these panels is only 40cm wide, but if you sit at 6" it should be closer to 70-80 depending on how you set them up. At least according to their website, and how I interpret it.

Yes. But what I have found is that the light doesn't spread out that much - have a look at this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LMBmFH6-pB4.html

I just checked their website and their return policy is pretty bad IMO. "To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging." This seems to contradict or negate their "60 Day trial" period. Would you please clarify if you can?

Can you compare the infrared max to the Light Path with pulsing? I have a call coming up with Light path and want to see which is the best value. I’m 5’4 and 122 lbs so I think the narrowness won’t be an issue.

Hey, it's hard to answer as it depends on the panel size, the wavelengths, the power output, your skin tone etc - But typically most people stand about 6 inches from them. I stand a bit closer.

Alex... I know it's 8 moths later but I'm hoping you'll see this question! I wondered if you've tried and had success attaching the Infraredi Flex mini to the max?? I purchased them as the combo kit and have been waiting a month for the daisy chain connector which was not sent in the pacage. However... I cannot for the life of me connect the two units. The screws on the mini are too small and slip out of the slot on the left side of the big hole on the bottom of the max unit. Any assisance would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

I will send them a video today of how it doesn't hold and the bottom unit slides out. Just very frustrating. Thanks again.

I ordered the Flex Max panel, stand and body wrap on 11/25. My order was shipped on 12/1 from China and when it arrived today 12/11 there was only the stand no panel or body wrap. In the email when it was shipped there was no mention that they were only sending the stand and made it seem like the whole order was coming. The stand is worthless without the panel. I will contact them by email but I am worried what happened to the other items. Had I known it was shipping from China I probably would not have ordered from them.

The infrared power looks almost non-existent compared to other panels you've tested in the past. With the even spread of infrared leds I wouldn't have expected such a large power drop across the infrared band. The redlight power band dwarfs the infrared band. Is my interpretations of your meters screen correct? Thanks

Their website says "Delivering an even more effective therapy with an Irradiance over 200mW/cm2." Why do they have to lie? Not a good look to me. And why is the 640mn peak so much higher than all the others?
@AlexFergusdotcom

Yeah it's a bit silly. I stopped looking at the manufacturers listed numbers years ago. But I may start mentioning it in future reviews. 640nm - that may have just been because I was over a 640nm LED for that particular test.

I cant understand why there are reviews on their website and just now during your review it showed they had 6 left in stock. I have been asking infaredi and patiently waiting to purchase for about eight months or more. They keep showing they're out of stock and have been telling me they have been awaiting approval to sell in Australia. I'm extremely confused as to why people are able to purchase and review if I'm not able to purchase. The prices you have showen are also way less than what I see on the website. The middle size panel is priced at around 1,500.

It's a fake counter, if you use Incognito mode it will reset. It's a trick to produce fake demand, it's a shady sales tactic. Considering the panel is quality, they shouldn't rely on these tricks and let the panels sell themselves.

Hey, I think Stuart is on the money regarding the scarcity play. Regarding your other points - I was sent this panel as a review unit, so I'm not sure if it's available to buy in NZ yet. Re the price - check what currency the site is in. Mine was set to USD - yours may be showing AUD?
