As simple as it is - this is our Inihaw na Liempo - Salt & Pepper recipe.
There are two methods of cooking the liempo (pork belly). One is by grilling wherein the heat source is below like barbecue grilling and the other is oven broiling, which is the method we used in this video, where the heat source is above.
No other seasonings were added - only salt and ground black pepper. Even with these two, it is just as tasty and SARAPlicious. You need to have a good dipping sauce for it which is also in this video.

Enjoy our Inihaw na Liempo - Salt & Pepper recipe.
Ingredients:
*Liempo or Pork Belly strips
*For seasoning - salt & pepper
*For the dipping sauce: 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1/8 tsp salt & ground black pepper, 2 garlic cloves (minced), 1/2 of 1 red onion (minced), 2 pcs red chilies, or siling labuyo (minced)
Procedure:
1. Prepare the dipping sauce. Set aside.
2. Place the liempo (pork belly strips) on a grill mesh.
3. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
4. Broil in the oven until it's done.
5. Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
