Nice man! and can i say from one who is trying to combine more figure skating into my slalom/wizardskating your tutorials are very nice :)! im also at the point with the voiced tutorial that ill stay as far away from people or crowds as possible to the point that ill only record voiced tutorials where it is certain nobody will come around.. sucks it needs to be like that.. and again your tutorials are very appreciated :)!
@@wheels_in_balance hey man, your videos are awesome! You’ve achieved such a flowy wizardry look for such a tight frame! It opens up a lot of options for you
Spread eagle/side stance is such a fun way to skate. It’s how I usually air out at the skatepark. If you get really good at it you can get on your outside edges and turn like the “wrong way” I guess. it feels so weird I love it
@@bebepastiche9105 I can turn the wrong way a little bit when I get low, have you tried straightening your legs out like I’m doing? It’s so much harder but that’s how they usually do it in figure skating so I’m trying to get used to it, but I lack a bit more flexibility to make it look right
@@SolidSkatesdoing an outside spread eagle requires insane turnout like more than 180. My hips are really feeling it after trying this morning. I kept slipping into an Ina Bauer because I felt more stable with one bent knee
lmao i relate to the exhaustion after trying to run a program. I always think i could do a long program and then I skate full out for a minute or two and feel like im gonna vomit 😅
@@user-kh9ki3kq8m I don’t even know how I’m supposed to train for it because I already go on runs and skate all day 😭 I’ll just keep pushing it further each time I guess haha. Let me know if you post any videos of your skating I’d love to see some!
@@roki4336 thank you! My axel needs some work, I’ve been in a huge plateau for a while now, I’m hoping to breakthrough and start landing some clean ones soon!
@@marluvss7 haha thank you! I think I’ll get some eventually, but one of my main goals is to be able to do these moves on my urban skates so I can go out in the streets.
Really like your videos. I've starting to learn inline skating since last year and love this technic so much. But only see someones did this on Snow White. It is really what I'm looking for, I hope some day I can get this like you, I'm 36 already. Thank you so much for bringing me more motivations. Keep your great work!
HEYY!!!! ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO!!!1 How do you turn though??? like before I broke my leg I didn't really know how to turn too, like do u mive your body or feet?..... I used kinda walk to turn around.
@@rubytroublemaker I would use the same walking motion to turn from forwards to backwards too, just a very smoothed out version of it. But now I’m learning all of the figure skating turns which are only in one foot. Three point turns are the easiest of them all. I’m not too knowledge about turns yet so I can’t really explain them my self but if you watch a video on three point turns I suggest learning them soon after your leg heals up because they aren’t too hard and they open up a lot of options, but hey, I did the walk to turn around thing for about two years and it will eventually look pretty good if you keep practicing it!
