Homeboy got a 1 year sentence for stealing and was placed in a facility that’s known to be dangerous… you telling me there’s not another facility for non violent offenses or with less violence? Crazy bro
That's what happens if you are poor. White, black, doesn't matter. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden will probably walk with $2 million in tax evasion and falsifying a federal gun application (which is also a felony).
it always seems weird to me how every prisoner will beat you up if you have bad charges, but when an inmate does something horrific to another inmate inside of the walls its suddenly accepted and noone bats an eye.
People will definitely bat an eye and they look at the rapists (inside the prison) as no good, but those individuals aren't going to step in and possibly put a target on their back to help someone too weak to help themselves unfortunately. Usually a chomo is riding solo and easy to get after....these rapists are part of a gang and can defend themselves....or their riding solo but are huge and can handle themselves.....it sucks but its part of ths system....
That's because bad charges are specifically for people who harm women or children. A grown man is expected to be able to protect themselves from other inmates or become affiliated with a organization.. It may not be right or fair but that's the way it is.
Well don't forget to thank all the convicts/inmates who actually DID that, whose "hearts" are made of "gold"....You know, those basically "good men" who otherwise "wouldn't hurt a fly" but just made some poor choices and just got caught? (And yes, even the "snitches" that did not, or WILL NOT, "snitch" who may have actually saw what went down**??🙄) ** To be fair to them (the "snitches"), I AM forced to put MYSELF in THEIR place, and CONCEDE that I myself may NOT be in a hurry to come forth and report what I know, especially if it meant my own death, or even if I become somebody else's "bitch"😶
The fact they told the family he was in the hospital for a drug overdose but he’s bruised all over his body should he grounds alone for a lawsuit let alone the whole case. Ain’t no way no one knew he was missing and didn’t account for him. Ridiculous. A charge like his being a death sentence
Hospital staff are lawfully obligated to report medical records to the parents. Instead of suing, taking pics of the bruises and restraint marks they opt for a head only pic. And what now we have is someone asking GoFundMe route. Pretty telling.
Not victim blaming. But if that's the excuse they went with its cause they know from a blood test at the hospital drugs were found in his system. It's still not how he died and a private party autopsy would settle that no problem. They did with tyree and they had to up the charges on those demons in blue. But before the family hired them. They sat on the whole damn thing. This family is gonna have to pull it together and fight for this young man. Til justice is served. In 2023, this cant coexist with us. It can't. Accountability is in order.
My Uncle Shaun was murdered the exact same way at Staton in December last year. Raped, beaten, broken ribs, punctured lungs, internal bleeding, head crushed, and eaten up with cancer, that Staton ignored his cries for help about for the entirety of his time there. He laid there for a month after they beat him and weighed 77lbs when he finally made it to South Memorial in Montgomery. We were lied to about where he was... the warden lied to me when I cried asking where he was and said he was in population. I made it 2 hours before he took his last breath. We NEVER got justice. They never told us who did it... my uncle had a drug problem and never hurt a single person in his life. I will never rest until I find out why. 😢
There is a very good solution to not getting molested in prison. Its a bit complicated and might be shock to most of you here. But its worth to read. DON'T DO STUFF THAT GETS YOU IN JAIL?!
You don’t know this kid or what he has done. Just because he is a white small dude don’t mean anything. He did a crime and goes to jail too. If he is that weak why is he committing crimes. If he stole from you you would want him in jail
@@coryhernandez508 I don’t have anything against a thief being punished, but a thief (especially a really young guy) shouldn’t be put in jail with murders (and worse). It’s just strange that such a young kid with a minor crime is grouped with violent offenders…

What do you think jail and prison is?! Band camp?! Get outta here. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the damn time.
It makes me sick to my stomach to think of the fear he went through in those last days of his life. I can’t imagine if he survived and got out how messed up he’d have been. Damn shame
Hospital staff are lawfully obligated to report medical records, the parents are asking for money. If that was the case, they hired a lawyer apparently and it would be a major lawsuit yet no report of a lawsuit filed. 🤔
@@MasonDaniels-ef6mf thats not true. they arent honorable. they arent good people. they dont have a 'moral compass.' thats BS. what that does is justify their reason to kill someone. it had nothing to do with their crime, its just an easy way for them to kill and receive fame for it. stop trying to think these 'people' are moral or have some kind of code of ethics.
There would have been multiple guards through there within a 3 day time period. Even with they're being corrupt guards there are usually a couple good ones or halfway decent wins that don't allow a lot of crap to happen on their what. Also, it was a dorm setting. There are prisoners that snitch on any one and everything that happens whether or not they're snitching on people and gangs are not. That's just how it is, but nobody said anything? I've seen guards overlook fights or a little bit of drug use and stuff like that, but this isn't a fight or just a little bit of drug use. This is serious and I don't know how this was allowed to go on. There's some serious shit going on in this prison.
Comin from someone who's worked in a CF, you got no idea what you talkin about. If they wanna take that joint over they can! Its crazy how slick these fools can be and can cover things up. Sure, there are many COs that don't care, most don't. Even the ones who care can't do anything about what really goes down. Lockdown is the only thing that keeps this from happening! My roommate from boot camp works at this prison.
Out of the 7 years ive done, ive seen the warden walk through the dorms like 3 times and walked the yard a few more times.. the chances of a warden finding something like this is slim to none
So because of a system of putting people with low sentences and non-violent crimes into prisons like this. His 12 month sentence was effectively a death penalty. You got to separate the hardcore criminals and lifers in these prisons from small time low sentence non-violence offenders.
I saw this last night, and its still haunting me. I cant get over the extent of what happened to him. The jail ABSOLUTELY needs to be held accountable for what happened. You cant tell me that in a dormitory setting, people didnt know wtf was happeneing.
Well they don't have cells to put people. They don't have enough officers to watch over them. They don't pay them enough to risk their own lives. Plenty of corrupt and racist cops, many from the same streets as the criminals. How can you hold the prison (not jail) accountable with everything that's going against them? Oh yeah... WAYYYY over crowded.
Everyone knew. No one's doing anything to help anyone unless they are affiliated. He's a little white kid in bama. I can tell you 100 percent which inmates did it

Cuffed to the bed with 2 cops guarding a guy that’s brain dead they really r ridiculous sometimes. I got into a car accident and didn’t know my license was suspended until the cop came into the ambulance and cuffed me to the stretcher im like tf u doing and he told me y. Then in the hospital they had me handcuffed to the bed and put shackles on my legs meanwhile my leg was injured from the accident so that was only causing me so much more pain and the cop even argued with the radiologist saying he couldn’t take the shackles off and the doctors like how tf am I gonna X-ray his leg with shackles on r u really that stupid and I was just glad someone else said it. All for a fucking suspended license and they had me there looking like a serial killer it was the most unnecessary bullshit ever and I had to spend a night in jail again for a suspended fucking license unbelievable.

Prison is punishment for committing crimes but it’s a bad enough place to be with no violence or fear of other inmates so the fact that fighting, violence, rape, torture and even murder is just something that is part of the prison life is absolutely ridiculous. @@jacqqulen9106 exactly! Stealing is a stupid mistake a lot of people make, especially younger guys who are still learning to grow up. Sometimes it takes them getting caught for them to realize what they were doing was stupid and not worth the trouble he got himself in. People do change and learn from their mistakes. This boy stole, he didn’t hurt anyone. He took responsibility for his actions and was serving his sentence. He’s not even comparable to the other people he was surrounded by in there. He should have never been in prison around murderers, rapists or people who kidnap. They’re on a completely different level and he’s technically still a kid at his age compared too all of those other grown men in there. It’s even more sad that all those inmates who did that to him, nothings gonna change for them or happen if they are already in there for life or most of it. They had nothing to lose so they took advantage of him. Imagine being his family, especially his poor mother, and especially his daughter and wife having to figure out how she’s gotta tell her daughter on what happened. Thank you for bringing the poor prison conditions to light. When I worked at the AZ State Prison I was shocked to discover that the rotten guards laugh when a young 18-year-old enters the system and is sexually attacked. Later, when I worked at Juvey, I was told to leave because I was "too kind" to the incarcerated youth. Why would I be cruel to these boys, as their academic instructor, when they are already being punished? As a Christian, I gave the boys hope through our only Lord and Saviour. Upon my departure, the boys gave me a beautiful hand made card...signed with their blessings...Most never had a chance.

Straight facts. Never tell anyone your release date in there. You’re just putting a target on your back. The other inmates know that you’re vulnerable and trying to get out, so you’re likely not gonna give the same retaliation that you’d normally serve because you need to be on your best behavior to actually get out of there.

I served nineteen consecutive years in the Alabama Department of Corrections (2002-2021). Kilby, Ventress, Fountain, Saint Clair, Bibb County, and ATEF. I tell the youngsters about prison life, but they don’t want to hear it.
This story is interesting to me. When I first heard it my first reaction was it sounds like the racial politics are weak in Alabama because if the kid didn’t have bad charges why didn’t his race protect him? Do y’all not have gangs that protect their respective race?
@@Dmoneyy503 From what I observed in those zoos, there are certain things a prisoner ends up doing where everyone washes their hands of the inmate. One is when an inmate, who came into the system as a straight guy, gets himself mixed up in the crowd with gays. It’s just a matter of time. Another reason is when the inmates gets his ass in debt,; drugs, borrowing, gambling, etc. There are no prison gangs like in the movies. Maybe in other states’ DOC systems, but really not in Alabama. You do have the bloods, crips, gangster disciples, Simon City Royals, etc. But I saw these gangs’ membership based on what city you came from. In other words, an incident kicks off. It won’t be blood vs crip. Instead, it’s like Montgomery vs. Birmingham, or Huntsville vs Mobile. Crazy shit, Man.
@@klotehater To stay out of prison means you have to do right. It takes a blink of an eye for your life to be changed forever. So if Life can change that fast, and that bad, you have to walk the straight line. You have to watch who you hang out with, watch what your chosen crowd does, and decide if they’re worth it. You have to get rid of that mentality that you’ll never get caught, and even if you did, the consequences are minimal. I ended up in prison at age 39, and got out at 57. @@StealthTRD the crazy thing bro is they didn't even investigate it, his name was in discovery and he has raped at least 3 other people since being in prison. He has a life sentence so I don't think he cares what happens anymore
I was sober got into a car accident my best friend died and they sent me to Walla Walla max. I fought and lashed out a lot, because I was just really pist off about my situation. I think a lot of people get extreme anger issues inside, especially when you’re at a place you’re always fighting for your life
How and Where can an inmate be tied up for days and attacked and no staff notices? This would mean the prison staff doesnt even do a headcount. What if he had escaped instead of being setup? That prison is a catastrophe and that little boy looking adult didnt stand a chance in that place. We have our own Correctional shame up here in the Northeast, but I've heard those Southern prisons (especially the Gulf States, TX to FL) are on another level and hit.... different.
They pay the guard's off or sometimes the guards are part of the gangs or their childhood friends of the guard's from when they were younger, there many reasons why
Never, EVER let ANYONE know your go home date!!!! They WILL steal that sh*t from you (one way or another) out of simple jealousy. I was straight walking out the front gates, carrying my shit in a cardboard box, before even my own cellie knew what was going on....and she was my prison "bestie". ..BET THAT.
@@karmakameleon113 Oh? Do tell, professor, exactly what species of animal engages in sadistic murder at scale purely for the sadistic pleasure of it? I don't mean hunting, fighting, rivals over territory, or killing potential competitors of any kind. I mean, strictly for sadistic pleasure. Maybe chimpanzees? In a study or two. Otters, allegedly?
