This trucks killer. Sean is a super determined guy and it shows. I’ve been following the build since very early on when he started doing the front suspension and all it’s revisions after. I’m hoping he comes out with products that I can use so I can support him in what he’s doing with the truck. And of course I have to mention the use of a true ford motor is icing on the cake. Hearing it’s the original block was very cool too
Thank you, thank you, thank you for following and supporting this crazy journey I'm on! I never imagined this would happen when I removed the first bolt 3yrs ago, but I'm having a great time sharing it all with you guys.
That is no doubt one badass Ford truck, as a Ford purist I appreciate that he didn't go with an LS swap, that truck sounds so AWESOME. I like the analog guages along with the Holly system. it gives a person so much information. I also like the transmission choice. the whole truck gives a person the best of all worlds. hey Solomon I totally liked the expression on your face. and your reaction to the truck it was priceless bro.. this one of my favorite body styles of Ford pickups, even though the newest truck I have is a bullnose. this was another great what the truck video as always.
Such a sweet build…I’m getting a 95 f150 just like this (single cab, short bed, 2wd) but with the 302. I plan on doing something similar but with out the IRS and not really want to race it just want a street cruiser. Gonna build the 302 and cam it with a bad ass exhaust system and lowered. Swap in the 5 speed. Also want to do a Holley ECU with the CANBUS stuff and make the trucks electronics modern. I love the look of the electronic screen where the analog stuff used to be.
You should go look at T Meyer and what they are doing with Clevelands. They will devour LS stuff - Ford canted valve heads have always been the real deal. Modern aluminum versions will clobber anything W. Your block will even work with them.
I am hoping that the independent front suspension conversion kit comes out. Because I am to say goodbye to the heavy I beam suspension that's in therer ight now?
@@Innovaspeed Shit I know!!!! I'm a old Ford guy I was telling Solomon I found a super clean Shortbed in my state only one I've seen that was clean. They wanted $15,000
So fucking cool . Love your truck. Ford power baby . BTW i call complete bs in the ls vs fprd vs wallet . Trust me i know . I've done both with junkyard 351 and 5.3 and 6.0 LS . At the end . Cost just about the same AND the ford sound 100x better
Do yall think the 1st gen lightning from the factory was built ok to run on the track the way it's set up factory? Or would I have to do alot of modifications to try and start running it around the track. I'm new to the truck industry still learning alot
Most actual tracks will not allow a stock height truck to run due to concerns about rolling. If it's lowered some will allow it. Some autocross organizations will allow it stock and I've never had issues being allowed to run lowered.
Is there no one else building these trucks? I can't find anything on an obs track truck anywhere. I would like to do something similar. But not this extreme.
Are you still here in the Phoenix area? Id love to sync up and pick your brain as I start converting my God Daughters truck into something like this for when she wants to move on from Karting! Just had an offroad built 9th gen dropped off in my back yard on the West Side near Luke AFB and am excited to get started!
