I'm Swedish. 48 yr old man and an atheist. Been to Sunday school, church and things like that. Has never been told what to believe. I don't even know if my dear mother was a believer. Dad was more open. Agnostic. But my point is that I've never been told what to believe and Sweden is a big atheistic country. Nobody said good or bad things about religion so it came down to my own feeling and my conclusion is that religion is pretty silly
And yet a God would waste his time doing that. when there's an endless amount of atrocities going on in the world. it sure as hell makes him look a lot less omniscient and obsentscient to me. and the reasons keep on stacking up as to not believe in God.
@@musicauthority5635 Xtians seem to believe God really cares about who & what they do in the bedroom so I wouldn't be shocked if (in their view) he is watching them in the bathroom as well. Creepy all round. Also god apparently spends time helping people find keys & I heard a pastor claim to pray mildew away so its great to know this supposed deity has priorities!
Great job illustrating the importance of involvement and of exercising our voting rights. Here in TN, the congressman is a right-wing nut job who quotes bible verses on his website and anytime I've corresponded with him regarding any bills. Most of the general, local public eats up his bloviating religiousity. Luckily, after a bit of looking into things, the public education system has not adopted any creationist nonsense into their curriculum, at all and despite each of the heads of the dept of education being all fundamentalists. They do have a ways to go on sex ed, so there's a group fighting that battle.
It would be more accurate to refer to our government as a Constitutional Democratic Republic, since democracy is literally rule by the majority (with no necessity of protecting individual rights, the kind of government that put Socrates to death). But other than that minor quibble, excellent speech, as always.
Human's lived with dinosaurs just like the Flintstones... YABBADABBADOO!!! So I've had a couple glasses of wine and smoked some good weed... I'm 64 year's old and STILL an old Hippie from Woodstock...I'm a product of the 60's and 70's... Sex, drugs and Rock 🎸and Roll...so yeah I ate a lot of PSILOCYBIN MUSHROOMS and dropped a lot of acid...YUP...a part of the FREE and PEACEFUL HIPPIE COUNTER CULTURE... Those were the days and I would do it all over again if I could!!! Love you Aron man!
God does not mess with boxes for transport, or iron chariots. These are the province of the Teamsters. God might be all powerful, but he's not that powerful.
I've just watched the first few minutes. I agree with Mr. Ra on education. I do have to point out though that I went to public school in Texas (I'm 55) and so did my three children. I dont recall any of the nonsense Aron is speaking of.
I've heard this alot, so I thought I'd correct it- the Bible doesn't prohibit any mixed fibers, only wool and linen, one a plant fiber and the other an animal fiber.
@@scottgrohs5940 but the point of not mixing fabrics still stands. The bible didn't mention polyester or other synthetic materials because they didn't exist.
What's wrong with the Earth being the center of the Universe? I'm pretty sure that according to astronomy center of the observable Universe is the position of an observer.
Bogdan he is right. There is no center of the universe, so the center becomes the position of the observer. If a person is standing on a planet in a solar system in the Andromeda galaxy, that place becomes the center of the universe for that person. Maybe you should read about the theories of relativity?
The one's that would need God the most are cut off from him. how about that thought crossing your mind when you think about believing in God. what kind of God would only help the righteous? only a piss poor one in my opinion. and this is all the more reason I will not believe in such a God.
