@acousticsoundguy9133 It depends. In this case the owner rebuilt the motor so that was a big part of the cost but including the turbo, exhaust, intake, elbow and dv valve spring upgrade. You're looking at around R70k but if you were just upgrading your turbo and exhaust probably in the range of R20k to R30k min. But I would recommend an intercooler and water meth injection as well because the car suffers from heatsoak and loses power after a few hard pulls. R10k for water meth and R15k minimum for an intercooler.
Sounds insane! 213kw/285hp & 503nm though unfortunately the car is losing power on the dyno due to heatsoak. Also got detuned after this video due to reliability concerns.
@samsonmakaveli007 Intercooler is what helps with heatsoak, the bigger it is the better. Cold air intakes dont actually take in cold air anyway unless the intake runs from the front of the car like the Racingline one.
To be honest fuel economy can be decent but when you really drive it like its meant to be driven you can go through a full tank very fast! Best case 400km off a full tank, worst case 250kms off a tank. Tank is about 40l. Service and maintenance wise I haven't had to pay a cent because my car is under warranty and maintenance plan. But imagine if you are buying used the costs should be high like any German car. Best to get an aftermarket warranty atleast and a low mileage car. But generally these cars have proven to be very reliable thus far. Just don't buy a car that has been modified.
