That kid is definitely the product of hard work, good genes, good coaching and HARD WORK. Lots of kids out there put in the hours. Very few them can trade points with a player as good as Andrey, much less at age 13. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Stanford someday.
@@proob8171 if his dad would not work with him,he would spend more time with his job und would recive much more money.so in other words it costs money to train this kind.this is the thing : weather you have money and buy the trainer or you parents are coaches and they spend a time with you.also dont forget, that his dad spends a lot of money to learn how to be a coach.so they spend a lot ofmoney for this kid ,but indirect
Love these videos! You have a good serve, better to add some serve and volley and approach the net more. Your opponent approached the net and won all the points when he did so.
This kid is incredible for his age and yet he’s “only” 27th in his class nationally? Perspective as to how hard getting to the top is. But I have no doubt he’ll be a very good D1 player at the very least.
So i think its no accurate because he is not playing much tournaments. If he starts playing more often, both his UTR and National ranking will go way up
Actually not doing any fitness at all these days. Just barely have time to play tennis but im soon planning to shoot a video about weight lifting routine for tennis
Swingvision doesn't report the top speed, instead they report the average speed of the ball (the average will also include speed after the bounce). This is from their website: "We report the average speed of the ball during its trajectory, as opposed to the initial speed of the ball as it leaves the racket, which is what is shown on TV and typically faster."
@@l2deuce I'm still trying to sort out what an 80 mph serve on swingvision is equivalent to. The fastest I've seen in amateur swingvision matches is about 100 mph on the serve which I think must be about 120 mph at point of contact. Is 80 about 100?
I would say its safe to increase the swingvision speed by about 20-25% to get an idea of what the TV serve speed would look like. However strokes seem to be somewhat in line with TV speed
I personally think you should be hitting your normal forehands with a similar take back motion as you do in your returns. Less vertical movements and more of a smoother less round take back.
Awesome backhand for the kid. What I don’t understand is why he ran around it to hit a. Forehand? He did it a couple of times, his tendency looks to try and play firebrands
Hi! SwingVision reports the average speed of the ball during its trajectory, as opposed to the initial speed of the ball as it leaves the racket, which is what is shown on TV and typically faster.
@SwingVision It seems like the speed of the ball is calculated based on using two reference points like a distance between a racket and baseline, then dividing that by time it took the ball to travel there? If so, i think it would be better to shift that reference point to something like a net tape because you always see it no matter what. That should give people better impression of the speed and be somewhat closer to what you see on the TV
@@andreysmirnov7461 Andrey, I personally think that your serves are at least between 115 and 125 as calculated by physical speed guns. Great video and thanks for the upload.
He has so much more angle to work with due to his position ok the baseline vs yours so far back. You straight up bullied him on that streak with your serve though. But during your serve game where you are trying to stand closer to the line, you did make noticably more errors trying to be aggressive. But just a friendly hit so who knows what you're working on.
Are you rocking a mad beard or is that just a mask? Anyways, great playing! Somewhat humbling in a way... Edit: Can confirm after looking at other videos; it is a beard.
Yeah, you are wayyy too far behind the baseline for indoor hard court. You're going to have to improve your court positioning/footwork. You're too good of a player to be playing this style.
how can you grunt so much on a 91 mph serve? I'm like a 7 UTR and serve 120. Also, that kid has no clue how to return a serve, and that kick serve is super weak, def needs some work. Just my opinion though, let me know if I'm just talking shit
