He said dollars though, not pounds. Not sure how much it equates to in £ sterling but he said $1:3 Billon. Coz America uses dollars the whole world does. 🙄
@@thefivepoints the $$ are absolutely irrelevant. Nothing was paid for in $$ dollars. It was ££ pound Sterling, like it always is in England. There’s nothing American about any of this.
I may have missed it, but you have not mentioned the amazing underground car park which is under the entire stadium area...there was virtually no car parking facilities at the old and lovely WHL. The car park was excavated out and the new stadium built from ground level on top! A very important point which fans are delighted with. This is where the football pitch retracts too when NFL play there...apologies if I missed you saying this.....
@TheClassicalSymphony no he’s not lying. There is indeed a Sainsbury’s car park next to the stadium but there is also an underground car park directly beneath the stadium.
How does one get a spot there? Is it hospitality or only if you’ve got a season ticket/ box in the middle tier prawn sandwich seats? Only asking as would love to do hospitality there. Although happy bouncing with other yiddos in the Park Lane COYS
@@ju.ice-der-boi Why is it "soulless", is the Bernabeu "Soulless", is the Nou Camp "Soulless", or the Allianz Arena, or the new SoFi Stadium in California, i would have thought the fans make a stadium come alive, and give it its "soul", and with 60,000 people attending every home game, Spurs fans are doing just that. The noise and atmosphere in there is incredible. But please, tell me what you mean by "Soulless".
@@daneelolivaw602 i feel like most of the stadiums you pointed out are soulless. They might look fancy but don‘t have character. Unsure how I should explain it. But yea I agree, if the fans are amazing every stadium can get it‘s soul back
Done the climb with my daughter who’s afraid of heights amazing views from the top. The best football stadium in the world for, acoustics, atmosphere and refreshments. COYS ❤
It's so well planned out and in fact, is just a marvel of engineering and planning. It's an absolute MILE ahead of any other stadium in the world. Well, at least when you think of permanent stadia. Qatar did a good job, but half their stadia are going to be disappearing in design terms and were only really temporary buildings in most.
if talking stadium as a whole they are nothing compared to Sofi Stadium in the US even Mercedes Benz stadium, Allegiant Stadium, US bank stadium looks better.
First of all Wembley Stadium is the biggest one in London and the UK which hosts 90.000. Though it home of the Three Lions England national team. It is not a PL stadium.
Little B And rumours also say that if brains was dynamite, you wouldnt have enough to blow your hat off. And for your information, the club has won 26 major trophies. including being the first English club to win a major European Trophy, and the first English club to win two different European trophies. mind that hat.
@@markfarmer1815 Not if it meant buying those trophies with filthy Russian money, l wouldnt swap this beautiful place, and our BRITISH owners for any trophy bought by the russian. and stamford bridge has always been a dump, you jealous person.
@daneel olivaw beautiful place ? I take it you've never been to Tottenham. It's a sh*thole & I think you're jealous cos the Russian ALMOST bought Tottenham, that would be a good nickname for Tottenham, don't you think ? Almost.
@@markfarmer1815 I was talking about the STADIUM being beautiful, what a typical brainless chav, and as for almost buying spurs, well, when the russian found out chavski were going down the pan, and could be bought for peanuts he went for them, as the cheaper option having found out how much it would cost him to buy spurs, it must really gnaw at your chavvy guts to know that the russian wanted to buy spurs before the chavs. Stamford bridge always was, and is, a shithole, Stay jealous of this beautiful STADIUM, little person.
I'm a Newcastle fan but very envious of your amazing stadium. I hope one day the Saudi government will build St James park stadium that looks like yours 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@AmongUs-qt3uo that depends on which team the plank supports. BUT whatever team it is YOU ARE JEALOUS. not a better stadium Anywhere in the UK. sorry PLANK.
so i'm watching this during our mental meltdown and when he asks you might be wondering 'why so' expensive i'm scratching my head also his voice is like that of a host from 1990s, what's up with that
I notice you didn't focus too much on their Trophy Cabinet. 😂 There's a saying in England "so Spursy" I recommend everyone look it up in the Urban Dictionary
@@Raulsta1985 So that means the 26 major trophies they have won means nothing then, does it?. So we should forget, for instance that Nottingham Forest won two Proper EUROPEAN CUPS, well, should we?, yep, we'll forget about a clubs history, because it upsets jealous little planks like you.
Always interesting how people use the Tottenham nickname almost every time. I can't think of another team where people do that - in ANY league. But I've also been drinking.
The £1bn / $1.33bn you often see quoted is simply untrue. It's £1bn for the entire Northumberland Park Project, which includes the stadium, shop, college, but also skyscraper apartments, a hotel, pedestrianisation of the high road and various other local amenities. Many of the latter have not been built yet, and it's debatable if they'll ever see the light of day. All in, it hasn't cost £800m yet.
Football moves fast...Villa, Man City Liverpool, West Ham will all have 60k -plus stadia within the decade. Villa and Man City also have plans for larger commercial zones than the Tottenham stadium has.
Lies! $115 simply isn't true unless you're going for premium. If you have membership you can get tickets for £50/$57 Champions League and £65/$74 for a Cat A match. I've paid no more than £55 for my Chamopions League tickets and £62 for Liverpool on Sunday.
As impressive as it is it just looks like an NFL stadium. I prefer White Hart Lane just like I preferred Highbury and Upton Park. These new super stadiums are just soulless money makers. Unique stadiums are getting rarer by day. Evertons new stadium has a good look
The stadium must make a fortune on match days. Everything is cashless. The average spectator spends a 100 plus quid, and that’s a conservative estimate, times it by 60k spectators/ customers you’re talking 10 million every home game.
Pains me to say it as a Barca fan but The Bernabeu is hard to beat. Those steep, close to the pitch stands are amazing and the new outer shell is impressive
Is this an AI voice? It's a mess either way. Would an AI voice mix up "session" and "season"? Or just a clueless human one? Whatever. So many of these low-content, spammy vids on RU-vid these days.
