That's such a good point. I'm sure we do that now with things from the past and if they were here today they would probably laugh at some of things we thought about the past😁
It doesn't hurt the animal, but it does harm the environment. There is a cycle where the horns are eaten and its minerals end up back in the soil. A few doesn't hurt but when collected in mass it does cause damage. That's why park rangers cut them up and distribute them around the park.
The nice thing about preservation is that you could show it to your grandkids or young people cause we don't know when an organism's gonna stick around in this world
I like the green lady's house because it's tastefully green. Like all the walls aren't green and overwhelming. There's a lot of green but it's not a slap in the face

She is really an artist. She loves green and it is still appealing in the eye. The color combinations were just great. I have seen some people obsessed with green but they made their house like literally all green xD
Imagine a bug couple in a bug world collecting drawers and drawers of little types of humans with continents labelled. It'll be like "oh we got a package, these are the ones from africa and new jersey combined... such great specimen"
I like the pigment collection the most. The way they bottled and stored all the pigments makes me think of vaualble powdered ingredients for a potion in some sort of fantasy world
I keep a collection of dirty dishes in the sink that overflows on to the counter...then I expanded my collection to used coffee mugs. Very eccentric and avant garde.

Omg watching this makes me smile, they're all so happy about their collections and that makes me really happy. I kind of understand their excitement, I've collected stuffed animals all my life(used to own over 300 beanie babies) and I've recently started collecting books, CD's, movies, crystals, snail shells, bones, acorns, interesting sticks/branches, and in the future I plan on collecting plants! I Really love nature so I have a tendency to bring it into my home 😂.
Oooh me too, I am a geology student and I really like what he’s doing. But at the same time that made me disappointed knowing that my field trips collection of rocks is nothing 😫💔.
I'm not as big on rocks as any of you but if it brings you guys as much happiness as it brings this guy (which honestly was so infectious I wanted to sit there and watch him gush forever) then keep at it! Your knowledge is the future! 😊
I'm absolutely in love with with the elderly couples collection. Since I was kid I've had a giant love of entomology and anything that has to do with collecting or studying preserved specimens. I wish I could meet them they seem like such sweet people!🦋🦗🐝 I'm loving all the sciencey collections in this video I'm jealous!
Obvious that the Green Lady developed an obsession with green color, when she visited her estranged father in Florida, where she met with many shades of green and it subconsciously became her connection point with her father 🤔
There was a man in my town that’s like the green lady, but he would wear all yellow while riding his yellow bike downtown.And when he rode his bike, everyone was so amazed at how confident he was.I am so happy there’s people like that.
I have rock collection with very cool rocks I have rocks from crazy horse and devils tower and yes I had to hide the one from devils tower in my pocket

I met the green lady while I was at my local post office and she was absolutely sweet. Didn't know she was well known, but I approached her to tell her I loved her outfit and hair. We started talking about hairdye and how we were both artists. I'll never forget meeting such a sweet woman 😍
