It left me wondering as well. But I think it has to do with the fencing pattern as well. All the houses you see there the fences are all low. It's always good to make your fence high to keep your privacy in your compound and security as well. Kenyan homes are well known for that but in Nigeria it's the opposite. You can be in your compound doing your stuff and the next door neighbor knows everything about you

But the mansion of $1.3 dollars does not have a single air conditioning system installed , no laundry room or machine .all these are very vital things in a mansion of such a huge amount of money and also it would have been much better if the house comes with elevator . lt should be against the law,a crime to be quoting dollars in nigeria,dollar is not a legal tender in Nigeria,except,maybe in a lawless country...The house did not do anything for me,it feels as if these developers are building office spaces for the future.ln a few years time,like victoria island all these is going to be offices,that is why there are hardly any garages,storage etc for millions of dollars.😂When victoria island is finally rundown without maintenance,like marina,broadstreet,Apongbo etc these places will be the next business center.But yet the leadership keep blinding them with eko oni baje".Eko ti baje long time ago.Take a look at apapa,lkeja,Allen and festac,nothing but a glorified shanties now,no maintenance no government...Cheers confidence!!

I totally agree with both of you 💯 Sometimes I check channels like this and laugh so hard 😂 what is wrong with these greedy developers who compare dollars to Naira it's a shame!!! Do people get paid in dollars in Nigeria? except for 0.5% of the population who work remotely with international companies 😂. I came across an empty beautiful estate located in Abuja on the internet a few weeks ago, no one could avoid it! It's all empty looked like a ghost town. We need to change our mindset as Nigerians this is why many can’t build generational wealth, they want to make more than enough on just one transaction it's insane. This house is just big, nothing special. Nigerian developers need to come here to the US or travel all around the world including South Africa and see how much 1. 3 million dollar house looks like. Lagos is not New York and Nigeria does not have the infrastructure like the USA we can be better but we need to set realistic goals and expectations and stop this dollar nonsense they better wake up from being delusional.

I'll like to say that your videos and presentations are always spot on. Very well presented. Unfortunately, with regards to the property, I don't see any value for money there. The fact that the developer could neither install AC units that would cost him a total of just N7m, nor install a lift that would cost about N15m /N20m, shows that they probably cut corners on other things in the background with regards quality. That land is probably not up to N600m, and the structure is not more than N170m, so where is the N2b from? The Alexa that was mentioned over 10 times as the main selling point costs between N50k to N100k each. The narrow swimming pool that's sitting on the road with no privacy is an insult to swimming pools. We need to compare what you can get in US or UK for $1.3M, then we may start to come to our senses. What am I paying N2b for here? We should do better. The greed is unbearable.

Nigerian developers are insane lol.… I have come across beautiful mini-mentions here in the US for the same price lol.… We Nigerians obviously don’t know how to make money we lack business strategies too much greed will make you think a smart person would buy this empty house with such an insensible amount of money this is laughable. There’s nothing unique about this house. No spacious greeny area in the backyard for family time/gathering. No matter how rich you are, this is not worth the price

Nigerians are not used to garages. The bottom front side of the building could have had 2 or 3 car garage with automatic garage doors added and that would have been a selling point instead of always telling people it has 24hr electricity and it's in a secured estate.

Very good observation...Garage is important. What bothers me is that we're struggling to live in luxury in a country that lacks the basics. In another year or two when gadgets break down, we start looking for foreign exchange for even the most trivial item. Then the elites start ranting that fx is rising....🤣🤣For the record, even a toaster is not assembled in Nigeria despite all the cheap labor. A country can only be built from within...I really pray for us as Africans...

2 billion for this..... smh do you know what you can actually build with 2 billion. i just have one question for the developer when you know that you were aiming for this price tag why didnt you use premium finish bin allb the spaces. the movie theatre omg was the worst joke. did they run out of money to buy more fibre star light???? they couldnt even import the best version that has different fibre thickness from amazon......... all that space and no indoor garage or car port...... for privacy and class the pool should have been where the roof top terrace is. me i dont see anything that stands out in this house compared to homes priced between 200-400 million in ajah axis. what is being sold here is the location not any unique architectural design.

Go to Arizona, you will buy a massive house with a bigger pool for 700k and pocket the change. The house in the video is worth 600k dollars at most. Positive of this video, the video work, quality of the material used to build this property are good and the presenter is clearly doing every thing to sell this properties features, walk in closet in the master bedroom is nice. Downside the special effects are over done, the house while light and airy resembles a white box and does not have any personality. The pool is overlooked by the neighbours and the bathrooms do not scream high end, and why are all the toilet seats up? There are a lot of snagging issues on show, e.g. exposed wires. For One million dollars I would be expecting much more for my buck. Nice property nothing special
