Unprecedented video coverage, of violent weather ! Invaluable weather information, being recorded, because of these guys.,.many injuries, and life loss, will be prevented, guarantee,
@@joey6451lol honestly, I get he’s in a tank, but he’s straight reckless. I also understand he know meteorology, but you can never predict the nature of a tornado. I don’t wish it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him turn into a Steve Erwin given the track record.
The way this man continues to predict and locate tornados across such vast country with pinpoint accuracy is truly incredible, straight up wrangles em like it's a dang rodeo
And to think he was dejected about 2 hours before this because the storms weren’t looking like great tornado producers is so damn true to his motto. Never stop chasing.
Totally agree! He has an internal nader detecter, and a LOT of experience! That much experience, along with his knowledge and skills, becomes intuition !!
From 2:53 to 3:53 is without a doubt the best documented 60 seconds, of how fast a tornado go from slight damaging to full blown visable tornado. That 60 seconds needs to be in every doc.
Was thinking the exact same thing. Hell, I'd narrow it further, like 2:53 to 3:23 ! I'd looked away from my screen for a couple seconds after the 3-min mark, looked back and there was a giant wedge! Had to rewind it. Crazy how fast it went from a dark cloud and fluffy ground stuff, to a giant doom wedge.
I can picture Reed being in the middle of a dead man walking F5 and just be laughing and excited. Love it man. I saw the Jarrell Tx F5 in person from a 2 miles away at 10 years old, and this kind of video gets me so pumped/excited. You guys rock.
2:09 "Multiple vortext. We're in it. We are bouncing." The good Dr. Reed Timmer, tamer of nature, dominator of tornadoes, spoken while inside-interception of what became an EF-3 tornado. This is a banger clip, also big fan of the Crew 🖖
Reed is the living, breathing embodiment of "The Extreme". Been a fan since the "Storm Chaser" days and you, sir, never cease to amaze with the accuracy and daring.
He needs to scream because his passengers are hard of hearing, and his passengers are hard of hearing because he screams at full volume the moment a piece of cardboard gets picked up by a breeze lol. It's endearing when you have a volume slider though
I have watched Reed for a long time. Chasers come and go but the commitment, education and experience he brings guarantee there Wll be a tornado, and he Will be spot on.He was born for this occupation, NO ONE does it better. Despite his insane enthusiasm for meteorology, he is down to earth and dead serious, can pinpoint a tornado, dominate it and move on to the next one. His legacy is forever and when he is old and leaves this plane of existance, he will be chasing in heaven till the end of time! Go Reed.
Gezzz, I can hear Reed yelling in the other room, lol. What a chase!! Thank you Reed for documenting these events. Always sorry for anyone directly impacted. This is why he is the DOMINATOR!!! Stay safe out there. ❤
Amazing!!!! I admire you guys so much ! As a 59 yo Grandma riding in the back seat of Dominator 3 though a tornado would make my bucket list smaller. Thank you for the virtual ride along!! God Speed ❤
I know this comment is out of the blue, but I remember watching an old re-cap video of Reed Timmer’s first recorded tornado video under the bridge in the 90s and how lucky he was to survive that encounter even when bridges were “acceptable” back then to survive a tornado. As of 2024, never shelter under a bridge. You will die, and Reed was lucky back then and we are lucky have him now and watch his achievements 20+ years later on RU-vid. Keep up the terrific job👍🏾
Whats so insane is they literally positioned themselves directly in the spot where it first made ground contact. I mean, thats knowing your instruments and reading the weather to perfection!
You and the team are off your damn nuts and I can't help but respect that!! I don't think there's anyone else who would build armored vehicles specifically for these intercepts... *AND THEN* have the titanium gonads to actually deploy them into the path of a tornado.
Read up on the TIV and TIV2, they were built in 2002 and 2007 by Sean Casey with a rotating turret to get IMAX footage. They're beasts, and although he doesn't use them anymore, they're in the hands of other chasers, doing what they were built for.
@@HeatherRose2023 Ehhh, Radar only updates every 5ish minutes. You also gotta have a bit of talent and instinct chasing. It's kind of like in twister. Sure, Jonas has all the high tech gadgets and has radar, but he didn't get the tornado. Bill had radar, but had instinct and experience, and got a tornado!
I Watched another tornado chaser channel and he came up behind the dominator and sounded like he couldn't believe that Reed had beaten him to the punch again. Heavy, and soaking wet, is the head that wears the crown!
Truly AMAZING! It’s awesome to see your passion in real time and just to see the true nature of storms. Reed is an extremely rare man. He loves his job and it CLEARLY loves him back. You don’t really see that too much in the world. I hope, lord willing I get the same life and blessings as you have. I hope if god wants me to do something Meteorology related it’s just as amazing as this! God bless you man and I pray for you and your amazing team Reed! Great job today! Recording Data and Saving lives. You have no idea what your work means to SOOO many people.
I was watching the live stream but this was great to watch again without the data issues. I swear I think that Reed can smell tornadoes because he never misses when they are forming. Never stop chasing!
I swear Reed is a once in a lifetime chaser and scientist! You rock, dude! Been here since the discovery channel “storm chasers” days and will be here for as long as things last! Plan to move out to a small town near Amarillo Texas and chase myself (preferably not this close though because I won’t have a homemade tank lol). Hope to meet you out there in the plains one day, man! NEVER STOP CHASING AND NEVER STOP
Incredible footage like always. The method behind your madness sets you apart from all other storm chasers and meteorologists. Best part, you are both Reed.. Keep up the great work along with your entire team.
Reed and his team are awesome! #1 Stormchasers without any others within light years. Damn I would LOVE to chase with these guys as I'm as barking as they are and love storms as they do
Everyone that was upset with Reeds yelling doesn't know that this is Reeds battle cry and the gobble gobble gobble 😂 We followers know what this means I love how excited Reed gets. This chase was so exciting ! You're a legend Never stop chasing!
This is so cool! Thanks for making this video available. Spectacular camera man! He did an amazing job. I'm currently on a heart monitor, and it went off while watching this! 😂 wow. This got my adrenaline pumping. Thanks for being willing to face the danger for all of us. Amazing.
Beautiful! This was a stellar chase and very much into it. You shine Reed. The weather back home, well the storms, are more intense. Grew up in SE Minnesota, so very similar. Also extensively windier. Sky got darker when the storms came in too, literally near black. Further south not so much. Ever since I was a toddler was fascinated by storms. Spent many Birthdays in the basement (June 7th-no brainer) but somedays I would not come down stairs willingly, was watching outside....hence Stormy JP. You rock Reed and your yelling is your trademark don't change chief.
Reed's screaming is the best. I'm waiting for the moment when his brain overloads and nothing but unintelligible words and sounds come out. "GABLAAA!!! FAAAAAS!!! AAAAAAA!!!"
You can be sure if there’s a high profile tornado, Reed and his team are intercepting. Incredible video as always, Reed. Proving once again why you’re the GOAT.
I really don't like him but he's got guts. Driving straight into a rain wrapped tornado. And the science he records is amazing and will hopefully help prevent people from losing their lives.
I did not see the eerie green color clouds you see with tornadoes, but maybe it was behind you guys? I love how Reed still gets so excited with each storm!!
As I understand it, the green light is if there is sunlight illuminating the hail core of a supercell, so depending on conditions the eerie green color may not be visible on the ground.
It's definitely been a fun tornado day in Iowa, today!! My family and I saw some in person in central Iowa as I had the chase with Reed & team running on the phone. Because nobody was hurt, it was a fun day. We havè an under ground shelter just a few feet from our front door so we can be safe if need be. Stay safe and keep on chasing everyone!!
Awesome Reed and Team. I watched all the way to the end again. Amazing intercept once again. You definitely had them dancing for you today. You are brilliant as always. Loving every minute of it. 💯% adrenaline rush.
It is so amazing that a tornado can get someone so excited. I wish that I had taken meteorology. There is nothing that I love more than weather. My nature is to save people. I’m 65 now ~~ I guess I could still follow my dream ~~ right? Keep them safe
