I used to always have recurring dreams of being in or near a tornado, in a variety of situations; one I watched it skirt by within a few blocks of where I was standing; another I rode out inside a tall office building. I know right? It was a very small tornado in circumference, and its odd curled nature gave it even more the impression of a weak rope not far from fizzling out. But that was SERIOUS damage. Thats why its so important to take every tornado seriously.

Tornadoes themselves are invisible, they are made of air. What you see is either the condensation funnel (where pressure drops enough that water droplets, aka clouds form) or debris. Usually the tornado itself is larger than it appears by just looking at it, the funnel may be only the inner most core but it can still be very damaging outside of it

@@aus3492 even some powerful multi vortex (meaning multiple different small tornadoes) wouldn't do that, tornadoes usually don't look horizontal they are near fully vertical shafts. What reed shows is a rare occurance
