it’s interesting to see the interior of starships that are larger than thise like x wings or tie fighters but smaller than capital ships and star destroyers
You should definitely purchase the Incredible Cross-Sections, and Complete Vehicles. They are brilliant reference books, which will satisfy you on that degree. It covers all the notable Star Wars vessels, from the films.
I absolutely loved the vehicles and weapons schematics in the DK books. I used to try to draw them as a kid. So detailed and even helped me learn how to read better.
@@Stretch501st Good, learn it all. If you need to hone your skills, come and edit Wookieepedia sometime, especially the vehicle pages/articles. I'd also recommend the predecessors of Complete Vehicles - the Incredible Cross-Sections for the Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy, including the Complete Incredible-Cross-Sections.
Could you make a playlist of just your Boba Fett stories and facts? There’s so much to unpack about him in both canon and legends and an convenient way to review it all would be nice.
This ship drastically changes its scale in different media. There were times when I thought it did not even have an interior but simply a cockpit and a trunk (just storage but not designed for passengers).
This to American perspective. You buy a Crown Victoria, drop in a super charge .460 built by Saleen, the trunk is a fuel tank and the back seat is just a bench. With nothing but bulkheads.
Do u think he cud use a comlink in his helmet to call the ship or switch on its systems remotely? (I know in AOTC Jango had Boba to back him up like that on Kamino, so maybe he followed this idea)
Interesting fact that the cockpit does NOT rotate with the wings. Only the passager seats. As we see in AOTC, Boba crawls in the seat and lies down on the back. The seat was not upright spoiler for BOBF In the new Episode he does exactly the same. Boba lies down and the seat was not upright
This video makes no sense with the rotating cockpit keeping the pilot always vertical. In Attack of the Clones, The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian, it doesn't for the pilot, which can clearly be seen in Episode 2 (Attack of the Clones) and in The Book of Boba Fett. Also, when Boba is firing at Obi-Wan in Ep2, Boba is standing on the back wall of the cockpit looking out the window to see if he shot him. Also, when Boba finally got Slave 1 back in Jabba's palace in The Book of Boba Fett, he is tearing the place apart because he can't see since he is facing the ceiling of the hanger. It does seem that the passenger portion rotates which can clearly be seen in Chapter 15 of The Mandalorian, though. It seems like Slave 1 is a difficult ship to pin down, really. Even the cross-sections shared differ in cockpit and passenger area layouts, which both differ from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. I'm curious if anything new will published based on the designs of these two new series because I feel the cross-section books out there now have been made obsolete by new canon material.
One big difference between canon and legends: In legends, Slave 1 was the last remaining firespray, since Jango destroyed the others. In canon, there appear to have been more out there, since Hondo calls it a "classic ship" and Rey finds one in a junkyard in a comic.
Note, that they've removed the guns next to the cockpit in the Book of Boba Fett. Now it's got just bottom blasters, missiles, and the Seismic charges.
If it's a system patrol vessel.... why does it have a hyperdrive? I imagine that's one of the many upgrades needed for it. As I suspect, a prison system patrol vessel would be intentionally not given a hyperdrive to prevent prisoners from escaping the system at above light speed. And yes, before you say, "But hyperspace calculations. Just make sure the droid-" not all starships in SW used Astro-mech droids. Most ships of even modest size simply added a navigation computer to do the calculations, and both droids and computers can be hacked/bypassed. Anyways, the point is, installing a hyperdrive on this thing likely was a tall ask for Jango, so not surprised about cramped spaces.
it was applied that the clones wars was gonna end with general grievous final defeat weather general grievous was terminated and or locked up the lord master
Dude nobody is calling it Boba fetts starship anyways. That's just for fucking children toys cause parents don't know the name. It's still called slave 1 EVERYWHERE even on official star wars and Disney website.. Like shut up holy shit 🤦♀️
@@fkr9032 What kind of sheep can you be for defending Disney? Have you watch The Book of Boba Fett? They wouldn't even dare made the character to say its name like it's Voldemort. Open your fuckin eyes.
Don't you know they call it the Firespray now? None of this controversial "Slave 1" nonsense. Wouldn't be surprised if they redub the relevant mentions in the clone wars to fit the new narrative. Might as well rename the Milennium Falcon to the YT-1300 freighter...
Dude you still don't understand why they changed it? Eventhough they didn't even change it. It's literally just lego but sure. Have your little edgelord hissyfit 🤡
@@fkr9032 They did it in the comics too. They are trying to straddle the fence for now and have it both ways. Maybe you should look into this more before making fun of other people and looking stupid.
@@minicle426 Boba would be disrespecting his father's memory if he changed the name of the ship, no matter if he named it "The Jango". The ship must be called the Slave I until the end of times
@@MrPoeGhost Used to be this way, AFAIK Disney's migrating away from that name. Hope we'll hear it in the series, but after the interview I very much doubt so.
Calling Slave 1 by it's manufacturing name (Firespray gunship) is just like calling the Millennium Falcon the: YT-Corellian freighter, instead of the actual name of the ship.
Slave I? Cancelled, that is "Boba Fett's starship" slave is a terible word that was in inocent people and fuck it I can't continue the joke it's so bad. its Slave I
I am still confused on why they changed it. How is it offensive? Is it the word "slave". If so, how does that word have any correlation between Legends/Disney cannon and our world?
@@EpiikoAlt I think even it has any corelation to the canon or legends I'm just imagining there is some twilek got offended and come to Boba and goes "I'm SoRry.. yoU canNOT naMe yOur ShIP thAt bEcaUse iT's OffeNsiVeeEHHH" and now I can't unsee a Karen Twilek
