This is an inside view of the NEC D3772. It can't run hdmotion very well, but it demonstrates the issues this example has quite well.
I have another one of these on the way, which is supposedly fully working, so expect a more in-depth video on one of these in the future.

Oh wow, looks like it's gotten a lot worse compared to when you showed it on discord a few months ago. Hopefully the second one will turn out fine :)

Yeah, when I filmed this I was quite surprised when hdmotion stopped working entirely. I hadn't touched this drive since I opened it when you saw it on discord, so I suppose it was closer to failure than I expected. Hopefully the next one is good like you say, if it survives shipping that is!! The NEC lottery sure can be cruel.

Was the triangular frame part of the drive, or did you make that? Nice thumbnail though
