I went to the Experience PRS event a couple weeks back and it was AWESOME!
I performed, taught and took a couple factory tours.
Paul is genuinely obsessed and in love with making guitars and amps. It comes across in his products. He's been at it for over three decades and his products are better than ever. I'm honored to be involved with PRS.

I have to say. After years I had finally gotten a Gibson Les Paul which I had dreamed for since I was a kid. Played the hell out of it and understood why some guitars demand a higher price tag. My sister owns a CE-24 and it feels comparable, but it didn't click with me. Recently got my hands on a Custom 24 and it was magical. Now that dream Les Paul feels tame next to what I get from my PRS.

Mr. Smith, I believe I speak for many other people when I say it is time for Mr. Pierce to have his own signature guitar. Tim is an avid fan as well as an accomplished musician that does a great deal of marketing for PRS. Also, Tim Pierce is my favorite guitar player at the time. Keep it up Tim, you are awesome!

Holy hell, im not sure many of you realize what kind of HONOR this must have been. Smith himself personally displaying woods for you to choose, and allowing you to spec out everything to the smallest detail. Thats just incredible. Smith is a class act. Ive been in love with PRS guitars since i got my very first issue of musicians friend with the PRS spread. Was mind blown then, and still am. My CE24 is the best guitar ive ever owned. Congrats on this Tim, must have been such a cool experience.

I'm very impressed w that A40E as well, its rare to find an acoustic that intonates that good above the 12th fret and rings like an open cord ....I want one !!!!

Tim, nice to see the PRS experience from your perspective. What was your meaning of the term "Tempered" when you reviewed the acoustic guitar? You were playing in the upper octaves and commenting on how that instrument solved some intonation issues. Thx!

There have only ever been a few guitars that physically take my breath away when I see them. But nearly every guitar showcased here did. I don't usually love a stained guitar, I much prefer paint. The PRS's are utterly amazing.

It take wonderful wood to amaze with stain. Paint is easier because you’re covering things up. I have a PRS 10 top and the looks amaze me daily.

thanks for sharing the video. I now know how and where my" Baby" was born.... what was your take on the acoustic..I've been playing Martins forever and am currently looking for another "high end" acoustic now but have not had the chance to play the PRS acoustics yet. I am completely sold on their electric guitars I personally think they out perform them all but was hesitant to stray from the Martins, looking at either the D35, or D42 how does the PRS acoustic compare. I would greatly appreciate any feed back you may have..Thank you ...

Can you do a video on what you do when you hear a buzz coming out of your airplane cockpit rig, or when you suspect a cable has gone bad, or a battery is dying? I would imagine you have to inspect everything once per quarter...

Take note Gibson. I want to love your guitars again. In my opinion P.R.S. are absolutely the best line produced guitars period. To the people that say they have no soul, try my 95 McCarty. Their quality control is the best in the industry. Taylor is right their also. A good friend has a music store in westminster Md. Coffey music. Every single P.R.S. on the wall from core guitars to the s.e. line is exceptionally well built. Proud to have the P.R.S. team right hear in Maryland!

Consistently making awesome guitars is what a guitar company should be aiming to do. Consistency. I recently pulled out my 89 PRS from storage and I’m blown away by the quality of fit, tone, playability and robust feel. It’s in regular use now and fighting or no1 spot.

Judging by the size of the wood blanks it looks like PRS uses one piece bodies for their Private Stock and core models. I've always read that this is an inferior method because one piece bodies are prone to warp.

Thanks for uploading. I like the guy, the company, the customer care... but, somehow, I never felt quite attracted by PRS. I've played hundreds of guitars, owned dozens. To me, PRS are well built, finished, balanced but lack a few things, between which tone & mojo. Of course, this is all subjective and personal but, for the price, I suppose you don't get a lot of guitar for the buck. I've seen a copper Tiger at Wilwood that would have been nice, but the thin neck and the price (4,5 grand pre-owned) have convinced me not to go forth. Some models I like: the Studio for its versatility, The DGT for its tonal options, the CE 24 for its price: If Paul can put all these together, I'm in :) BTW: Kiesel does that for a fraction of the price. My 2¢...
