I knew there must've been some kind of mistranslation going on because $2.15/month doesn't make any sense whatsoever, even for the poorest countries on the face of the planet.

I thought that only Venezuela was like that. Venezuela is the most rich country in south America, with plenty of oil for everyone that makes them as rich as Saudi Arabia. People who know some of the painful things I’ve gone through in life sometimes send me messages of sympathy. I laugh and send them a video from you. Some panicked mothers and malnourished babies with flies on their faces. Beautiful women selling themselves and men so overwhelmed they abandoned their families. I don’t cry often but I usually do watching these videos. I wish I could adopt a whole village of these children. Democracy in places where democracy is actual democracy is not a mirage (some corruption more or less will always exist in all countries, so that can be taken out of the equation), but in countries like Mozambique democracy is definitely a mirage.
