I cant help but notice that the "help" just keeps these people in a loop. They have babies, bring them into this life of misery, then when the baby is at the point of death, they give them this packaged "nutrition" just to keep them alive and then set back into that miserable world of starvation and poverty.... Poverty is not even the word, they are at geound zero. Its really tragic. I dont think anything is helping. What a tragic world we live in that we cant even aolve something this easy!

Please, please please don’t send money to UNICEF THE BUREAUCRACY IS CRAZY. Living in the capital of Kenya, their neighbors to the south there’s a lot of South Sudanese refugees here and from the situation they explained to us the UN is only as effective as the government in which the country it’s in is. You heard him say they were police honking and clearing people out of the way so that a convoy of brand new Toyota Land Cruiser can pass people living in abject poverty but government officials are driving cars worth 150,000-300,000 per convoy. And because of such of the thousand dollars you’ve donated which by the way, thank you so much 80% will never reach these people. Sorry for the unsolicited advice but in my opinion, it’s better to put in research and find NGOs and like Nick here where you know the money doesn’t pass through government officials first who already live in our country with their kids, leaving their own country to live in an IDP like what you’re saying

Was it ever ok? Could you guys ever revert back to a tribal way of life? Wouldn't you be happier? I know I would be, no disrespect to you. But once you come to western Europe and are 3 generations in you'll find out. Taxes, overworking, social degeneration as well as physical and mental. Your future generations will have health problems as well as mental ones. Its a sick society, it could work and could be better but modern society has just as many problems, just different ones. If the structure was there I'd move to the congo, have a tribe wife, have children, drink raw cows milk all day and hunt animals. Shit only got worse for everybody when we decided to make life complicated The problem with your society is that you have one leg in, one leg out, one in the modern world and one in the tribal. You're a tribal people fighting for money and hierarchy when there's no body actually investing in your country, nor enough innovative or educated people to create businesses. So what do you want to do? Fix your country and become a part of the first world? Or be happy with what you have and live a simple life. Struggle or not struggle, your destiny lies in your community and how well you treat each other. You can only fix something wrong in your life when you realize that all the responsibility lies on your shoulders, this is your problem and your problem to fix

Thank you for making these videos. My father is from the Nuer tribe of South Sudan who are the same people you interviewed in the camp with the Lines scarred across their head and he came here to Canada in 1998. He tells me how death and destruction are a normal thing there and I have lots of friends and family who I contact there who tell me of the terrible conditions. It’s heartbreaking to see the way of life people are born into there especially as someone who was privileged enough to be born and raised in North America. I will visit there myself in the coming years with my father but it is great to be able to see it second hand through these videos for now. It’s crazy to me how I have many cousins and relatives who are simply born into a life so different from mine and don’t know any different. I hope to be successful in my own life so I can help in any way I can . Where I live we have a large community of South Sudanese and they are some of the kindest and most giving people you will ever meet even after all they have been through. My father fought there and has seen awful things but spends his time working to provide for 10 children and regularly sends money back home to help his people
