David Borla gives us a sneak peak at the their new breakthrough exhaust technology - the Borla ATAK (Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics). www.summitracing.com/search/b...
I had the Stinger for 8 months and since the first installation I realized the tone is so deep and gives that nice old school muscle car rumble. Loved it until I go WOT, instead of going all out nasty, the deep throaty tone was so deep it toned it down and got quiet. Never really liked it so I went to the Atak. Wow! Best exhaust system ever. When you give it a 50% throttle, it gets quite aggressive and on a WOT, the bad boy gurgles and becomes aggressive AF. Love it!
The more i listen to the S-Type the more I want it on my 5.7 Ram 1500. The Touring (maybe a little too soft) and ATAK (maybe a little too loud for towing rpm's) still sound great, but i want more exterior throatiness and yet still tow without having too much interior cabin drone. I'm running stock currently and want to "unlock" the potential and efficiency that my vehicle drivetrain offers with an exhaust that will allow it to breath. Borla is top shelf quality and performance and with a million mile warranty on metal that will reside in the North East US, I'm pretty much sold as to what brand I'm installing on my vehicle.
I have a 2002 Mercury Sable GS I don't plan on doing a dual exhaust but I would like a muffler that sounds close to the original Muffler but still have some get-up-and-go sounds in the muffler any suggestions thank you in advance and great video and by the way I'm 61 years old just for a point of reference 🥳😇
