!!!THE ANCIENT UNDERGROUND MEGACITY OF KAYMAKLI PRESENTED LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!!
Let's explore the largest underground city in Cappadocia. Its origins are still unknown.
This mysterious subterranean structure was dug by the Hittites, but according to the Turkish Department of Culture an Indo-European tribe known as the Phrygians built it in the 8th or 7th century BCE. This amazing ancient structure was later expanded by the early Christians of Cappadocia.
Let’s get to know more about the ancient history and architecture of this wonderful place!

...an amazing, mystical place! Yet there's nothing very romantic about living 100s of feet underground, in constant candlelight, in narrow spaces with 1000s of tons of soft crumbly rock above you. But "mater artium necessitas" i.e. necessity is the mother of invention. People had to flee and manage to live underground, fleeing for their dear lives in this part of the world, all through the ages, ... and even as recently as the 20th century A.D!...

It is an amazing experience what you had in that underground city. When you go to a place like that you ended up with more questions than answers. Those people need to be hiding from someone or something, where all the ground from the excavations is? It must taken a lot of time to embark on such an enterprise, but no-one knows. Thank you Irena for the great video, your friend in Key West Ingrid Holm.

It is not a city. It is a model of a nano scale energy storage device. Walls represents the field and rotating direction of the wheels guide the direction of the field. WE call it ZPM device. Unlimited power module.

@@ancientsitesgirl Thank you so much and Yes, a really important criterion. I strongly believe that it is the nonverbal communication of the creator of “Kaymakli Underground City” I would like to make a brief introduction of my eligibility to make such a recommendation. I am an electronic engineer. Later I did an independent study of other archeological monuments in Sri Lanka and around the world. My special revelation is the unprecedented high-tech alien spacecraft depicted at Sigiriya in Sri Lanka. I have identified the aircraft and studied its operation in depth. It gave me the opportunity to gain an understanding of the archeological field beyond the traditional framework. My studies so far have confirmed that the archeological field expresses the unique alien spacecraft technology and related technical criteria. Those messages have been documented to be scattered all over the world. The Kaymakli Underground City is a similar example. Its small chamber separating walls represent, patterns created by the ferromagnetic fluid that binds to the magnetic field. Such a system is capable of generating a large amount of uninterrupted power from noisy vibrations and instantaneous charging by a powerful external electric discharge similar to a lighting. This power module is most suitable for massive “Flying Saucer”

In this video ASG goes that extra mile to show us something really crazy---underground!! Death-defying exploration with incredible sound and filming display ASG at her nonchalant best. I would have let the Romans kill me before I'd hide down there. But, ASG is intrepid and brings her A game with info-packed commentary. Thanks. I've been to Istanbul and Gallipoli but never to Cappadocia. I can no longer travel...so, I go with ASG instead.

Greatly appreciated effort to cover Kaymaklı. Thank you for reviewing the theories about the identity of the constructors and the occupants of the two subterranean sites. Most of Anatolia is mysterious...it is the land of several indo European nations[Lydians, Lycians, Caryans, Phrygians, Lelegs and of course the Hittites...]. The dwellers of the W coast are collectively called the Luwians. With the exception of the Hittites, all had alphabetic writing systems. The Phrygian alphabet is not necessarily based on Greek. The Hittite hieroglyphics are now believed to be Luwian. Hittites used cuneiform borrowed from the Assyrians. The oldest written inscription in an indo-european language is in Hittite...not in Sanskrit.
