Bought some cheap roofing nailers that need some work. Taking the trigger assembly apart trying to get the leak fixed. Learning as I go since these are new to me.

Brother all hitachi make that sound when you pull the trigger. I make music with mine while I’m roofing.

You can pop that nose off with a little bit of tough love. Fortunately the nose is tool steel so it can take some flex at the nose, and then you can kind of wiggle it past the nose piece. Unless it's a garbage part then that pin has to come off and put a new one in. Sometimes they warp over use, but usually they crack off because the metal is hardened to a point meant to take some serious abuse. The nose piece plates act like clamp rings and help provide load as mass on the swing to allow the trigger to do the thing.

Stick a tiny screw driver through the trigger and hole and tap the pin through at the same time to make it come together easier

Ive had mine apart a dozen times, It had a busted exhaust bumper while waiting for parts i decided to put on o ring kit . the main part finally shows up and that was when things went down hill.I think ther is a problem with the cylinder ,believe it or not the cylinder moves up and down as does the piston to govern the air where needed. so depending where the cylinder sticks you get air from the trigger or from the top vent. Its a micky mouse contraption tread lightlv

Thank you for the insight! I still need to make a part 2 to this with an actual fix, but haven't had time.

Piston and ram only work togeather when recoiled same thing it's for speed no one used it like a 22 hour finger would be fucked or then we would modify . U like it the way u think it should work you can do that with this a spring that locks the piston and ram when the trigger is pulled but bypasses the recoil arm is more fucking around if ya want that buy an electric roofing nailer

I bet your trigger will not just be a air release when you squeeze when the guns uprite. There's no ram to make it function or piston whatever u wanna call it but its actually a ram reason is if u wanna leave the finger on the trigger and use the recoil as the firing pin you can but it also means you won't shoot old firewater hanging out by the eve waiting for his buddy carting the Firewater cause another baby momma got the check now he's gonna say he's heat stroke or his baby momma just ran out the door with the cuz and the chigens are home alone and he's gotta go ( car pulls up Firewater jumps in )Monday morning your late cause he's in the drunk tank and guess what his employer is the only white bot keeping him from 90 days and hennwood lol now I bet you wanna spring attached to that free ram now hey . Lol just fucking with ya all roofers been through this that's why pasload siding nailers are more fun .. you can hot cuz and a sis from 80 feet away lpl
