The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me ru-vid.comUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
The hardest thing to get used to on this machine, having owned one for quite a while, is that you start lifts at the bottom rather than the top. That's the one thing that takes some getting used to. You don't lift off and unhook like a normal smith machine. You lower the entire thing to set the safety stop location, and then unhook. Particularly awkward for squatting. Also, super prone to tracks stopping at different numbers so it won't be perfectly level.
I just bought mine and noticed the same thing. It’s extremely awkward and it’s though to get it set for full range of motion and if you do get it set for full range of motion then it makes it even more awkward when trying to reconnect it all.
Probably gonna buy this in the next day or 2. I'll want to paint over the red parts to match the color scheme of my space (although I imagine that might mess up the grip so maybe not the brightest idea), but this looks awesome.
I love my FT1, but erhm... SF3 seems like a step up. Except for the weight & I wish the pull-up bar would just be a normal straight bar (and not as thick as on the FT1 & FT2), also.. tall enough to hang from.
Hi there! The FT2 is still available on our website while the SF3 is exclusive to Costco.com. They are similar but are different machines. Check out the comparison chart on either product page to see the full list. inspirefitness.com/product/sf3-smith-functional-trainer/
Hi there! The SF3 does not have a dip attachment. Check out the FPC1 Full Power Cage- it includes dip handle attachments. inspirefitness.com/product/fpc1-full-power-cage/
Hi K P! There are a few differences between the two, one being the SF3 has a smaller footprint than the SCS. Also, on the SF3, the smith bar is tied directly into the weight stacks, so there's no need for plate loading. Additionally, the SCS has 6 total pulleys while the SF3 has 2. The SF3 is available exclusively at Costco.com and includes different accessories as well as a 12-month subscription to the app. For a full comparison, check out the comparison chart on the SF3 product page: inspirefitness.com/product/sf3-smith-functional-trainer/#compare-product
Ok so this guy has one more left add it's brand new in box. He is selling them for $1500 it's the fs3. It's the same unit that u guys are selling for over $4000. Why the big price difference between these same units? Guy it's like 3 hours away from me.
I don't believe that Costco offers installation. It may just depend on your region, however. For the most accurate information, we recommend that you check Costco.com and input your zip code.
