That's actually it 😂 they hate their ex and hate smelling a reminder of him, some good fragrances here women be hating apparently lol the only one i can relate to is dior savauge i loved it when it first came out but it became very sickly fast for me and i went off it fast, it's also one i notice at work practically every bloke seems to wear it a bit like lynx deodorant sort of thing it's kind of overdone
That's EXACTLY what you're hearing. When girls are asked what they do or don't like, they're operating on so many levels that you can never trust them to give you their true and honest opinion on something. A girl can absolutely love a fragrance, a food, a drink, a band, but if they can connect that thing to something that they don't want to admit that they like then they will always say they don't like it. There are rare occasions where you'll catch a girl saying a fragrance smells amazing but once you tell them what it is and they realize it can be connected to someone they don't like, or someone they do like but don't want to admit that they like they'll go back to claiming they hate it.
Amuage is really bad smelling like medicine. So it is a right list. And dior savauge is just very cheap and bad smelling thing very chimical, try true scent like laython exclusif and you will never try savage agian. Also cree aventus is so copied thing, it loose it class. Very right list in my opinion! Pacco reben also very cheap smellibg horrible thing.
Agree!!!the crazy thing is although I do not own any of these fragrances Mention but at the same time probably Demi herself once called these THE VERY BEST FRAGRANCE IN THE WORLD!!CRAZY!!GUYS WORD OF ADVICE WEAR WHAT YOU LIKE!!
This is also known as hitpiece marketing.. I would assume this slander of other brands, was part of her Fragrance du Bois contract.. Keep it classy... SMH
That's it!!! She might change her point in another video. That's what they always do anyway. Just spray on whatever you love and eventually you will get compliments.
He really only recommends that first two though with Sauvage and Aventus. I haven’t been on his channel in a while but I don’t think I have ever seen the others make his lists other than Kalan once.
Men do not take fragrance advice from women in general or their instagram friends in particular. This might come as a huge surprise to you Demi but not everything is about women. Men are perfectly capable of making their own decisions😊
Remember people, those involved in the fragrance community are going to have extremely different and niche opinions compared to the average person. Most complaints in the community are about a scent being synthetic or outdated, but normal people really don’t care about that. There’s a reason Sauvage is so popular despite being largely disliked by the fragrance community.
@@demirawling yes, and the people on your Instagram are more than likely part of the fragrance community. Therefore, these opinions are coming from people who are part of the fragrance community.
It might be old be old but Fahrenheit might be the best fragrance ever produced. I have NEVER heard a single negative comment while wearing it. It's been around almost 40 years. It's as classic as Obsesion.
@@jasonverbarg9790 I was once approached by an attractive customer service assistant in sports retailer who said something like ‘what are you wearing? It’s amazing?’. I told her I was wearing Fahrenheit. It was the EDP.
Farneheit is interesting for a fragrance connoisseur, but it doesn't accomplish the original purpose of wearing a fragrance: for people to think you actually smell good 😂. Unfortunately fresh, clean and sweet will always be favored.
Fahrenheit smells like something between licorice and gasoline. Your olfactory senses aren't able to detect the toxic-smelling chemicals in it. But, a large percentage of people absolutely HATE it. Headaches, dizziness, vomit-inducing, etc, etc. You either can smell those chemicals or you can't. If you haven't had a negative comment on it, people were just being kind. A significant percentage of people literally are disgusted by the smell.
I stopped watching at Creed Aventus. I’ve been into collecting different fragrances for a few years now and literally EVERY single time I wear Aventus I get complimented on how amazing I smell...
same stopped watching at aventus lmao what a joke 😂 😃🤣 !! Who cares about what instagram womens think about it.everytime l wear aventus l get compliments end beside that l wear it because l love it smells so great one of the best parfum ever made!!😘😘
She’s just riding the hype train. You could make a best or worst 10 colognes with these same ones and get lots of views. Her opinion is total bs. It’s just for views and subs.
@@fragitude exactly.. I just rebought my Sauvage and its still awesome and people love it.. my confidence is high.. From where Im (central europe) I met one guy with it so far for two years that Im into frags Most of the people wont spend this much. The smell is still great.. people still love it.. i dont watch these lists anymore.. all over and over again the same shit just few weeks ago ist hyped or hated and vice versa.. if you like it.. go get it. I love it.
That's funny...I've only ever had one negative remark while wearing Sauvage...and it was from a person who generally hates on me anyway, so I really didn't care 😂
*Guys wear whatever YOU like, BE YOURSELF, show up to your date with the aroma that YOU like because that will represents you and AROMAS will only be part of the whole equation that makes up your entire presentation and personality. Not wearing what represents you is hiding a part of yourself if she doesn't like you let it be on the first date* ON A GOOD note... The guys that have made an impression on me and even fell in love are those men that I said hmmm that's interesting.. or I never thought I would like that.... people surprise us! THE BEST PERFUME IS JUST CONFIDENCE.
At the start I questioned some of the fragrances mentioned but once I heard her say she felt that Acqua di Gio smelled like bug spray I honestly could no longer take her nor this list seriously. It may be a dated or ridiculously common/overused fragrance by men but "bug spray".....no way!
Basically that’s a 15 minute video to say some girls like a certain fragrance and some girls don’t, we already new that and this video just smacks of someone struggling to create new content.
People on Instagram are largely from the younger demographic. That crowd are more likely to ‘hate’ something that is popular because they think it makes them look edgy and individual. If you’re wearing any of the scents mentioned in this video and are feeling disheartened, I highly recommend getting a second opinion. Many of these are the highest selling fragrances of all time. They are clearly doing something right.
Yeah, I stopped watching the video after she stated that to her it smelled like bug spray. If her nose is that out of line with probably 90-95 percent of the people in the world that has smelled that fragrance before then there is no way I want her telling me anything about what smells good and what doesn't. What she said is her opinion but she'd be hard pressed to find nearly anyone with a working nose to agree with her. Even bugs who heard her say Acqua di Gio smelled like bug spray were like "she can't be serious!" LOL!
Aqua Di Gio D&G Light Blue Nautica Voyage Versace Dylan Blue Those four scents are absolute winners. Every girl will like them, and some girls will love them. Never heard a girl say she hates them.
LOL, someone got butthurt. It's more like, who cares what EVERYONE ELSE OTHER THAN YOU think, just wear what you like and stop trying to beg for other people's attention.
Very disappointed about how many in FragComm are ignoring it, including those who've associated with him. He was controversial at times, but a good guy overall, and contributed a ton. There's a good handful or more who haven't even acknowledged it.
@@terryspak5763 maybe people need time to process what has happened and maybe they have cried or felt sorry out of youtube who are you to judge how other people handle it a loss?
In my experience, women don't hate Aventus or any other fragrances as a single unit. People like and dislike things depending on their personal taste. Tons of people seem to love Versace Eros, but I can't stand it, as one example. I know plenty of men and women who like Aventus just fine. I'm not a fan of these videos that paint everyone with a broad brush.
Imagine being so insecure that you let some random women on Instagram influence your fragrance/fashion choices. I feel sad for guys that care about that kind of thing.
To every single one of you who thumbed up this comment.....You Spend Your WHOLE Life Trying To Impress "Random" People With Fragrance and Fashion!! Ya bunch of ding dongs!! THAT'S THE MAIN REASON FOR THE INDUSTRY BEING SO BIG AND PROFITABLE!!
@@stevebrucken973 You are a product. You must sell yourself everyday in any career or opportunity. Smelling good is the first way to market yourself my friend.
Me personally I don’t wear perfume for women, I just like to smell fresh and clean, I’m into more citrus more naturally smoothing perfume that helps relax and calm the mood down.. fellas wear whatever makes you happy.
She definitely didn't conduct her survey or her statistics as thoroughly or as professionally as you clearly have. You have those vague blind street tests where 3 unnamed colognes won by "staggering amounts" to back up your statement.
@@ProudGirlDadX2 Well theres a ton of blind tests you can view on youtube or google. Half of these fragrances are my main fragrances and they all get female compliments
Honestly I love the 1million I still get lots of compliments on it from both men and women, like just the other day there was a girl at a cash register in the store and she was FREAKING out over how good I smelt, it was like she was turned on just with the scent.y’all can hate on it but it’s still a damn good fragrance
If a girl really likes you she would even like your sweat. Almost 70% 80% of men don't even wear anything I don't know where this is too common comes from. Some women can't even stand smell of anything.
Women actually like natural scent. A woman can detect the smell of her partner just by t shirt alone. There was a study done, where men wore a t shirt for two days without deodorant etc. Their partner was attracted to their smell and not that of other men.
@@cole4249 I don't know anything about buzzfeed, this has been studied many times. Always coming to the same conclusion. We're just intelligent animals. Smell is still a big factor in who we date.
The funny part is that this woman claims she got this list from other women, yet she puts her fingers over her nose like she actually agrees. Stupid list & stupid video,my opinion.
Exactly, seems like girls are leaning more towards bad memories of their past on those colognes not because of the smell but of past memories in my opinion!!!!
NOPE!!!!! When it comes to my experience with these two fragrances JOOP & LE MALE women love it! I bought these 2 at 23 years old and I'm 50 now and you don't know how many compliments I got from women for wearing these two colognes. I've had women follow me around the store begging me to tell them the name of the cologne I'm wearing. I've had women sit next to me on the bus just to smell me to later confessed to me why they always sat behind me. I've had all my female coworkers on a daily basis tell me how beautiful I smell in these two fragrances. I've got nothing but long hugs kisses & compliments from women & till this day I still wear them.
Guys....women still love them....I get asked everyday what am I wearing from total strangers....some become lovers....If they didn’t attract women we wouldn’t wear them...Demi, you still are the best❤️
There will always be someone that still likes them but a large proportion of women do not thats all shes saying. Why appeal to just some women when you can appeal to most women, if that's what is important to you.
I'm curious to know if those polled were frag community women or general women with average knowledge of frags, because I think the opinions could be very different. Many times women who aren't into frags will still like some of these because all they go by is what smells good to them
@@Lila-qo2sb It's not a large proportion. It's a few dozen votes. Frags like Le Male will appeal to the majority of people. Most of the Parfums on this list are not disliked, they are simply over-used and people like to be against things that are omni-present.
These are opinions of girls from her Instagram which are knowledgeable on fragrance, not your common girl that you are going to be on a date with or meet 99% of the time. That being said, I agree with all except for savauge and invictus. They are both synthetic but the common person doesn't think about how synthetic a fragrance is. I have gotten great reactions from both.
That’s not true, I hate synthetic smells and apparently the girls I’ve dated hate that too. Maybe it’s just the type of girls I choose to date but this happening several times is no longer a coincidence
Any lady that reviews Creed Aventus , JPG le male or Dior Sauvage as bad is clearly based on opinion and not knowledge of perfume. If you want real answers do a proper survey from the perfume community and not opinionated responses from Instagram
After seeing your video I think I would continue to listen to my brain and continue to use these beautiful perfumes; and I highly recommend all the guys to do the same. I'm not ready (and never would I be) to spray myself with cotton candy.
Sauvage, and Aqua Di Gio = Walmart Cologne. This is exactly why I get good, and pricey fragrances, because I know that there are less people wearing them, and I dont want someone saying, "Oh my friend has that scent." Also in regard to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, I think that cologne is meant for the boys night out in the winter time kind of vibe. I know women don't like it but I like the manliness fragrance to it.
I bought PDM Kalan based on your positive review Demi on October 2019. In fact, you got women’s opinions on the street also in October 2019 and the overwhelming majority liked it so I’m now baffled by this review.
This was a great idea but I think your audience isn’t representative of girls I’ll meet. I’d be more curious to see if you could do this poll outside your audience
Great comment! Define a pool you would be curious about. Maybe I’m in it? Do you mind sharing which scent you wear? At least you’re interested in fragrance!
@L L cool J thank you for clarifying! I can’t identify a men’s fragrance at first sniff, only women’s. I have to ask what a m’en is wearing and the only three that I have disliked are Drakkar noir and la nuit de l’homme. Ever since I was a teenager, the scent that absolutely drives me nuts on a men is Chanel égoïste! I’d have a hard time focusing on the conversation if someone was wearing that scent 😂
This video is so wrong... She basically said the most popular fragrances and the ones that will get you the most compliments from women. And just because they're indeed not unique. If you check some of her other videos she says she really likes some of these fragrances. I guess this video was made just to get views, comments and controversy since the ones she mentioned are the most popular ones
I have to say I disagree with many of these haha 😂 I LOVE Aqua di Gio!!!! To me it is still one of the kings! 🤤 I also like Sauvage, Ombré Leather & Le Male. 🤷🏻♀️.
Agree and also , your my absolute fav fragrance channel ❤️❤️❤️ I’m also Canadian but didn’t know you are until about 9 videos in , I binged almost all your videos ❤️
The reason “Joop” is so often disliked is because most men put far too much of it on them. The tiniest hint of a spray is all you do, then it’s fine. I bought the bottle I now have back when I was in college, and that’s going on 30 years ago
I think unless you are hanging out at some of the best clubs in miami, LA, new york, london etc etc you really dont have to worry about smelling "like everyone else" with your niche fragrance house scents. I rarely come across Aventus even in the wild.
When someone says, “this fragrance is so common, very popular, so many are using it, you’ll not smell unique....” as if the frag head is over half the people on earth. 🤣✌🏼
you do know people outside of the fragrance community also know about fragrance and fragrance like 1 million, Acqua de Gio etc have been sold in millions so these fragrance are not fragrance that only the fragrance community knows about but half of the world
Maybe if you’re living in a less well off country but in USA girls are TIRED of Sauvage, Aventus, Paco, etc. old fragrance overly commercialize fragrance is no bueno
One nuance about asking people to name something they dislike, is that they have to know about it to name it. And so the fragrance has to be popular enough for people to know about it, to say that they don't like it. And for it to be that popular in the first place, there has to be a significant number of people that do like it.
I don't get the "dated" concept for fragances, it would be like saying roses smell "dated", or that mangoes taste dated just because those are smells or flavors that existed centuries ago, and it is such an ilogical thing to say specially if you say it to a person that is just beggining to get into fragances, most people haven't even smell most of the fragances other than the cheap AXE deodorants. I would say the word women should use in this case is overused, and you know this is the case because women tend to date the same kind of guys again and again knowing they are just dougebags. No girl in his right mind would think a fragance is overused if the love of his life uses it daily after the shower, they are emotional and they would love anything that man uses or says, and then they will hate those same things if they later develop hate for the same man. Men like Creed Aventus because is a great smell and we do not attach emotions to everything, so we can keep apretiating the actual smell withuot biases from bad feelings, so we can enjoy good fragances no mather how old they are, if you start to hate pu55y maybe you need to do something else rather than chasing pu55y, you will not find some new magical pu55y that makes you feel better about yourself, and even if you do it will do so just for so long, this is exactly what women do, this is why Demi says constantly that she used to love certain fragance but then her sense of smell evolved and now she hates it, that is BS, the fragance and her nose are the same, it is her feelings that changed weather for the man that wears it or by her friends opinions and influence. That being said, a man can get a lot of value from this kind of videos, and specially the actual live reactions from women in the street when they do fragance battles, when they don't know the name of the fragance suddenly the hate or love disssapears, you can see it when a woman smells something she liked and then they reveal it is a fragance she supossedly hates or viceversa. Now I know that in general women would like Dylan Bleu over Creed Aventus while men would rather wear Creed Aventus.
I love those scents too. My husband wears Aventus and I love how it smells on him. He also gets compliments from women all the time on it. So I was a little shocked with this video.
All your girls don’t like hyped fragrances regardless their quality or scent. Obviously they hate hype. They didn’t name any really bad fragrance - simply because they would not even recall their name.
Don't like it, don't drink. JOOP HOMME is a fragrance for all ages. I'm 59 years old and I've been using it since I was 22. It's not cheap, as you say. You don't even know the name. You don't know how to spell it. Nor the history of this perfume. Fahrenheit is another expensive perfume, one of the best. Go learn about things and don't talk nonsense...
In her 10 most masculine scents she said FAHRENHEIT smelled very sexy and now she sounds like she doesn't like it she said it smelled like a burning tire in this video 🤔 I think it's an amazing fragrance
It is an amazing fragrance and a classic...but it does have notes of gasoline and asphalt and burning rubber. It's all in there...it's no simple minded perfume, it's complex and unique.
I only own 7 fragrances and 4 are in this list haha. Fahrenheit is really something special, though. I've bought it without ever smelling it before (knowingly) and I was like "wtf is this" but after some uses I started to really appreciate it. It doesn't smell "nice" but it smells like confidence and craftmanship If you want to call it like that. Unique and not like you are just one of many
It is horrible scent. Very chimical cant stand it, so bad. Horrible smell like every aftershave, very cheap, shame on Dior to realse it. Dior was a lot better in the past.
In her previous videos where she talks about Parfums De Marly’s, Kalan she gives it 10 out of 10 and says that she loves it and that it is incredible and amazing and sexy. She promotes it and tells guys to get it. And in this video her views are not the same. In this video, she says she does not gravitate towards it and probably only smells it once a year. This is inconsistent and smacks of dishonesty.
I was actually going to mention that...I remember when she hyped the SHIT out of Kalan, and now she never mentions it, until a list like this comes out, when she says she's indifferent towards it. Either her opinion seriously changed, or she collected some $$ from that review
well, the fragrance itself is well assembled, and as the scent is very good, the problem is it smells itself is too pungent, too heavy, and not very pleasant , although it is made well and the ingredients are of high quality . Maybe that she meant when talked about Kalan
For those who dun quite understand the video and the dislike... Top compliment like Sauvage / Aventus are kinda hit or miss now because too many party guys wear them and these cologne can be a miss for long-timer, party girls. If the girls are new in perfume scene (uni girls), you can't go wrong with Sauvage / Aventus / 1million / Eros.... Clubbing, parties scenes where there're lots of working girls, my top pick would be Bleu De Chanel / Gabbana The One / AdG (Profumo)
Yes, here is really where this woman shows superficiality in commenting on perfumes for instance. Fahrenheit needs real perfume connaisseurs to comment on. It is bigger than many "popular" youtubers.
You only lasted 1:04 min before getting a dislike. You hate Dior Sauvage?! And then to even dare mention Acqua di Gio is just insanity in a whole 🤡 #JeremySaveThisOne
I'm 40 and I still love One Million and Le Male after all these years. A light spray on the chest is all I use. Less is more when it comes to stronger fragrances like these!
I have to say that I get more positive feedback from women when I wear Creed Aventis than any other fragrance I've ever owned. It can be over powering which is why it needs to be applied judiciously. But other than that it's a nice clean and distinct fragrance. Not offended that it's in your list. Find me something better I'll give it a go.
as a man, I do hate some of the perfume on this list, but I quite intrigue with JPG Le Male. Me, personally, kinda hate man fragrance due my body odor will make any perfume with oaky, woody musky note into garbage! like litterary garbage! but somehow soapy or sweet based are smell nice on me. it takes me year and many bottles to find my scent, but it is kinda worth it... Currently from global brands, I often use Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Mysteriosa (very lightly spray, it's very strong perfume) & Dolce & Gabbana Intenso. Those two, even I drenched in sweat, still smell nice and friendly to my nose and my friends too. I often use those two both in day and night, and quite versatile in my body. Another I always repurchase is Lady Gaga Eau De Gaga, which quite fresh & easy, with some edge due leather note.... but unfortunately that one is not as long lasting as the other two. from local brand in Indonesia, I love House of Medici perfumes! they blend the aromatic is really really nice! many people who love niche perfume love their scent. The Infatuation of Edward teach is very strong manly, boozy, and smoky and yet, a quite sweet as well, which many people say I smell very nice with this one. But like Salvatore, i must spray lightly as this perfume really-really strong and long lasting. Another on from them is Agape of Jean de Arc, which jasmine & herbal-ish scent, quite unisex as well, and it's soft too. and for unique gourmand from them, I fall in love with Fatima Isabella, which rose & chocolate! quite unique, and not too sweet dark chocolate with rose is quite unique! the Edward I use only at night, and the other two is versatile, but mostly day fragance.
I love Dior Sauvage I bought it for my BF. Perfume is so personal it smells different on everyone as it mixes with our own natural scent, and it’s this natural scent that can spark attraction between people. I thought you loved TF Tuscan Leather, I must be mistaken.
Fahrenheit is just another classic from the 90s - just because it is old, probably makes it recognisable, and as with fashion it gets out dated, but it will return, the smell itself didn't change and it still is amazing.
I used to get a lot of compliments on Fahrenheit when I was young. Also I work in a tire factory, it smells nothing like a tire. Sauvage I wear occasionally but it's far from a favorite. Aventus has always been more popular with men than with women.
Fahrenheit is a classic, have had tonnes of compliments from women on it. Tbh most of the lists in this video is...dismissable, I think. Obviously fragrance is subjective, but not sure what demographic of women Demi's asking to get the likes of Sauvage, Creed, JGP and even Aqua Di Gio as the "worst fragrances". Those are literally some of the most popular fragrances and not without good reason.
I'm wondering if someone with the looks of Chris Hemsworth or similarly extraordinary ones, wore Dior Sauvage or Acqua Di Gio or anything so popular and asked out any of the girls who actually voted that they "Hated it", who of them would really give a damn. It's the person who wears the fragrance that actually makes it, not the other way round.
Okay and what if Chris Hemsworth squirted cyote piss on him? No one would want anything to do with him... how you smell can bring you from a 10 to a 5 and vice versa a scent can be powerful
@@NapoleonKonstantinopoulos its not but you said the person makes the scent and thats not necessarily true bc no matter how good looking you are if you smell horrible no one will wanna be with. The scent makes the scent the person wearing it doesnt change how it smells
@@kyleparadis5840 horrible is not an objective label for scents like sauvage or adg. And I disagree, each scent smells differently on different people. It’s skin, not paper.
People can say what they want about Aventus: it's too popular, it's too expensive, it's been cloned ad nauseam,... I don't care. I'm never going to hate it because I still think it smells amazing. Same with Le Male. It's not expensive, but it smells great. (I associate it with my brother, so wouldn't want to smell it on a partner, though).
@@thenightwolf3394 Smells like dogshit, plenty of people I know hate it too. But ay, some people like the smell of dogshit and if you like it spray it all over you homie
I look at fragrances as stories told through smell. Like Movies are stories told through sight, and music is stories told through sound. So with that being said, there are no bad fragrances imo. Just fragrances that Don't meet my particular tastes. Just like I may not like your favourite song or movie doesn't make it bad. Me not liking a fragrance doesn't make it bad.
What!? These are compliment BOMBS!!Unfortunately, when women like or dislike something, they use emotions with bad memories to draw a conclusion instead of having a genuine and unbiased answer. So to all my Kings out there, they hate these scents, because someone that NOW hates them, used to wear it. We love colognes with an unbiased love, we give respect and admiration when due. Some females are so caught up in their feelings, they tend to forget when they're in the presence of greatness. -write that down-
Good work Demi. Most of the guys have no sense of smell. I tried, over the years, just 6 of the perfumes on the list and your comments are spot on. I saw a lot of negative comments here. Don't get discouraged.
I must disagree about most of them. Honestly I personally don't like most of the fragrances on this list but when I wore them the girls LOVED them! I have Sauvage but women universally love it. I don't like Invictus and La Male but women go crazy for them. A close friend of mine rocks Acqua di Gio 365 days a year and ladies compliment him pretty often. I simply hate 1 Million but I own it only for the compliment factor. I get attention every single time I wear it. I used to everyday Aventus last year and the feedback was amazing, no negative comments. I can't say anything about the other ones but this list is total BS from my experience.
Bruh, Instagram is full of hoes that are getting dumped by guys left and right. i can 100% garentee you that they hate sauvage because it reminds them of their EX or the guy from the club that did his thing with them and dumped them.
