Got the E3A code on the last trip. This means the dryer overheated. It was totally my fault as I did not heed the warning in the instructions. It says you can wash 15lbs, but only dry 7lbs. I never really thought about why. Well it turns out that over loading reduces the needed air flow, which causes the condenser to overheat. Took a couple hours to pull the unit out, open up, and hit the thermal breaker buttons. I also took the opportunity to remove the condenser fan and clean out the lint… be sure to do that if doing any maintenance. All is working fine now… lesson learned!
Excellent video... We have exactly the same Bounder. It is plumbed for Washer/dryer. We are FT (full-timers). My wife chose not to have one. I did find a leak from the factory plex pipe where it is capped off. I replaced the caps. Anyways, I enjoyed your video and took note of the much needed info. Are you FT? where is your home base?
My guess is it's not actually USING the water, but rather using the venturi effect to siphon the water from the condenser holding tank and pulling it into the wash water, essentially reusing it.
Johnathan Ravan it’s working great. We have found that drying for about 20 min is all we need. Remove and hang up prevents wrinkles. We also like that it holds a pretty good size load compared to the other RV units.
@@swalesutube Thank you for the quick reply. It's good to hear that it is holding up, I'll look into getting one once I get an RV. Very informative video by the way, good documentation.
