Dang this trick is slicker than a booger bro, Ima try this, I have a Chevy equinox head off right now on my coffee table and I have to put these back on, me and my grandkids pulled them off last night as a matter of fact, I was pushing the spring down with a socket screwdriver and a wrench while my grandkids were grabbing the keepers with a magnet, 😅😅😅
Great job with that tool you made! Not that you need it, but a pair of fine tweezers like the one surgeons use in the OR would be great here, their long tips would allow perfect manipulation of the keys. Great video!
Thanks for giving me the idea to make one for myself as finding the proper tool is a hassle here in the Boonies.I need to use a metal nipple though and cut with a grinder or hacksaw. I will still need to buy that clamp though.
Awesome and so simple. Couldn't find a vid last night on how to replace valves that are flush with cylinder head. Worked out similar method but using metal pipe and valve spring clamp. Took me 40 mins to find a piece of metal pipe and was too late in night to use grinder for needed notch out as I share house. Had same clamp, heaps of pvc pipe and hacksaw tho. FML but thanks for such a cheap easy method for today.
I have to try that,i think it's just one *GREAT* idea, thanks; i've seen videos here where they use a piece of plastic, from a bag, instead of the 10 mm socket.
