I think the trick is to put the bolts through the holes before trying to install it on the lower

Yes get the one from ProtunerZ. I got one of those for my Supra 2JZ. No headaches.

Might be a dumb question but can you weld the intake to the lower runner ?

Some welder told me the materials are too different (both aluminum) so it would be very hard.

What idle air control valve setup are you running?

none. I idle tuning on my ECU. grabbing dta from the MAP sensor from the ECU itself. Using Speeduino Fishdog (SpeedyEFI)

Oh ya you definitely can. Just be sure that all the sensors are connected since your ECU will expect that

I've learned from this one and on my next 2jz I'll buy that $700 ones that is one piece and already comes with trifle body, fuel rail and TPS sensor. Those are way with the money

Where do I enter IDLE AIR?

There is none. If you have an IAC that controls through a hose then you can connect that hose to one port of the FFIM otherwise if it's like the 2jz one you can't

Different materials. Didn't want to spend all that money to pay someone either. It's working fine so far

@@CarModsGarage I have mine welded came with the engine so i did not do it myself. I haven't installed the intake either yet because powersteering reservoir is on the way. For now..
