Thank you, Chantel! I just had my windows replaced and the installers informed me that the cordless blinds in my kitchen would be my responsibility to put back up. I was totally clueless and even the simple questions of where do you install the bracket (inside the frame,? above the window frame?) and why all the holes in the bracket made me question myself. I knew that installing the blinds couldn't be that hard but the more questions I asked, the more intimidated I got. I had started researching handymen figuring I'd rather pay someone to do it than totally mess this up. Your practical tips and pointers have given me the confidence that I can handle this by myself. So I brought two cordless blinds last year trying to get someone to put them up to no avail. And here it is another year and I'm tired of looking at the boxes. You see, I have blinds up already but I want to put up a new pair the ones I have are the old-school kind that you have to pull up and down using the string. I did some searching and came across the cordless kind and was happy and brought them and had them since. I decided that maybe I can do it myself and began to search on youtube to see who can take me step by step because it can be that hard to do right? and the minute I pull up RU-vid after three searches I came across yours and grrrl! I was glued! you start off on point! I really enjoy watching you do this DYI You have convinced me that women can do anything!!! for sure!! why was I waiting a whole year! I'm ashamed. And you are very detailed! You were what I was looking for! now I'm going to put my blind up with confidence! I just need a good electric drill and stew driver. Any recommendation? I just moved into my house the last Tuesday. All my widows do not come with blinds, they are six of them this is my first home I'm not a handyman. I'm being honest with myself after watching your video I think I can install those blinds by myself thank you very much your video is well done.

Lol I got to watching this before I took the brackets down from my old blinds. With my screw driver’s dead battery I got 4 of 12 screws out. They’re too tight to do manually so I have to wait until tomorrow. But after watching this I think the install will be easier than removing the old! THANK YOU!

Thanks! You're a lifesaver. The brackets aren't like the old one at all, and it just didn't seem like they would hold it in, but I see they snap in instead of inserting them and closing the little flap shut.
