Love them cheap HD blinds 😅been wanting for my home. When moved in here it's a beautiful set in one of the guest bedrooms & I've wanted for the entire house. Funny because they also custom order them cheap blinds even cut all their blinds in store. That guy was going to buy from HD or Lowe's come put them in your home anyway & pocket the difference. You're a smart man always looking out for what's best for your family & sharing the knowledge with the viewer family. Well done & this is an on time video. I'm trippin over that comment since I've been mad at the high prices at HD😂.

I ordered the same blinds when I lived in New Jersey. Actually I purchased them on eBay! It wasn’t for my entire house it was only for one room but it was perfect. Plus I have cats so the cordless works because they like to play with dangling cords.

If you have a double window situation, I blind company will install the blinds for each window using a single head rail and one valance. This will give your windows a cleaner look.

I am older and all I ever had were corded blinds. Now you can't get them any more. I wouldn't despise cordless so much but when they stay down too long they are a pain to get to retract. How long does it take before you can never get them to retract at all? They probably have some sort of clock spring mechanism that will wear out soon enough. They should put a knob on the end of the top rail you can turn when the spring no longer works. It will be just about as slow as molasses frozen in liquid nitrogen but at least you will be able to open them again!

I know of a place that quotes $300 each for faux wood but they come out and measure and make them custom for your house. Other fancier blinds are even more expensive but this is no chain store, just one with 2 locations. I am not going to say the name and advertise for them or accidentally say bad things about them. I would consider having them come out to my house if I had the money.

I have a very shallow trim area at top of window where brackets will have to be installed. I have long ago purchased four sets of blinds to be used for inside mount. If the space is not deep enough to install bracket, is there a way to put in a piece of wood to the top-of window trim-which will adapt trim for the lack of depth? Thank you, Cheryl

Thank you so much for showing every detail down to how to and where to measure. As a woman alone I don't know anything about anything like this and so I don't do them because when I watch other videos they say thi gs like this part is self explanatory just measure your window.ive wasted a lot of money to find out that self explanatory means you have prior experience measuring these things. But I don't.

Good job you just saved yourself some money. The guy giving you the quote will lose lots of money, if he does not learn to remove certain words from his vocabulary. Those blinds, pretty much just sit in the window, no one will have to play with the blinds. I used those so called cheap blinds from Home Depot and when we sold our first home the family that bought the home was happy to get them. Great install Sir, and enjoy the rest of your holiday season and HAPPY NEW YEAR, to you and your family can't wait to see the new garden and the fence looks fantastic.❤🖤🤍
