Installing a Dometic Ultra-Breeze RV Vent Cover

Make sure all of the sealant is set before installing the cover. I had the dealer install one on my last RV. When I tried to remove it to clean and inspect, I found out the idiot glued it down with the copious amount of self leveling lap sealant he used.

those pins will rattle over time nice and easy to remove but not that quiet as the maaxair are with screws to take out to remove and always stay tight...ask me how i know been there done that

Hey there may I ask you a question that would really help me? I went to look at a Beaver today and it was really rough but the guy had a 2001 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage. I told him I don’t like them because they have no aluminum structure in their roofs and he said he worked for Winnebago factory and that this model does because it is their high end model. The roof does feel pretty solid and he wants a cheap price but there was a 110 outlet that was melted and he said he had to replace the inverter and the breakers and then all the power came back but I noticed both tube tv’s are fried too, and there was a factory Solar Lcd read out on the wall under the fridge and he had to unplug it it was so hot to the touch… I’m sure this unit has too many neglected things with these issues but I will admit it was clean otherwise

Why install the bug screen on the roof vent cover when the roof vent already has a bug screen? Unless the Dometic screen adds rigidity to the frame? Some vent covers the screens are available at an additional cost. Just an observation.

The Dometic fan has been a terrible performer for me, I replaced with a MaxxAir Maxx Fan Deluxe. This cover will not fix the supersentive rain sensor that condensation effects on a regular basis.

Every time I get a new trailer vent covers are a day 1 upgrade.
