Love your Channel. I just purchased the Minn Kota Power Drive blue tooth enabled from Bass Pro. My first trip out today on the water and the foot pedal won’t allow me to steer the trolling motor, and when I press the power button to move , the motor shuts off after about 15 seconds Help if you can please. It’s the same hookup. I just always make sure it’s the heaviest wire you can use for better amps to the motor. So most definitely you can use the same wire
Can you recalibrate these after a battery swap? Seems like mine doesn't hold its spot well when in anchor mode. I switched out to a lithium battery now and the boat wants to drift off my original spot lock.
I have a power drive that I install spot lock and I pilot on, it's a 12 volt 50 pounds thrust. I wonder if I ran this on full for about 8 hrs what size battery would I need ? I'm thinking about going to lithium and wonder is a 12v 50 AH enough ? Thanks
