Why not fill the hole halfway with Wet concrete, set the tube in there and level it....come back tomorrow and fill the rest of the hole with concrete so you don't have to worry about the tube not being straight? With the first batch of concrete being set/solid the tube will not move when you add the rest of the concrete.....
Can I use a top rail for my flag pole? I have one already in my backyard. It's 20' long. And is it ok for a flag pole to have a little sway? or none at all? ty
I wonder if I can set my flag pole up with pebble gravel instead of concrete . . . There won't be a flag at the top. Only a four piece scanner antenna.
Is there any reason not to simply concrete the entire flag pole right into the ground. I am building my own from 2" pipe and wondered why all the YT videos concrete just the sleeve.
I see 15 to 20 foot poles come with a 2 ft long sleeve. I will set mine similar depth using a 5 ft tube so i can place the level against it above ground, allowing easier viewing the level, then cut off the excess 3 ft later.
