I dont get why ppl leave the gap, in case the toilet leaks... underneath? Ruining the floor maybe? If anything i think i want the leak concealed until i have to replace the toilet...?
If you want to make extra sure the toilet is parallel to the way measure the distance from screws to the wall to make sure they're even BEFORE0ressing down on the wax seal
I really enjoy learning other trades in detail on RU-vid. If I ever have to fix anything in my house that doesn’t require a building permit, I feel like I can with this app.
Should include a final flush so everyone gets an idea how the newer terlits flush/work. For example, the no-rim Toto ones, or the ones that advertise excellent bowl washdown from rim jets... Can't see them in action at DIY stores to see if they solve a particular problem at the expense of creating others with low water use.
The im living in is a 1960 model had a cast iron it was broken on one side that was hell to figure how, now i got mostly everything i need to do the job it was doing the Wibble wobbling
