Installing Do88 Upgrades on My Saab 900! 

Thats a coincedence, just picked heater hose for my '04 95 2.0t. Turned out that mine car doesn't have a heater valve so the hose is bit longer than normal. Oem hoses are almost impossible to get, while do88 makes it and its more sturdy, as its performace oriented parts (while also being cheaper, even with shipping from Sweden) Now im going to swap all the coolant, pressure and turbo hoses to do88 ones, its like 10 or more years of being calm about coolant system failure. Old rubber is not going to last forever. Shipping from Sweden to Poland was like 2 days, i was stunned. Thanks do88! Big up to all Saab heads! Fly safe! As the one of do88 guys said : "old Saabs never die, they just get faster!"

Have you noticed any changes at boost or at the throttle or idle ? Usually when the rubber aged the most common is boost leaks

You mentioned in your very interesting video that you check parts on Aesop Parts Support (I may have misheard). What is the correct name? My airconditioner vee belt on my 1993 Saab 900 (owned from new) has just broken. I ordered a new one from a French outfit RBM, but they sent me a toothed version, which is not what was on the car, and it is a pulley, nut a toothed drive. How can I check if a toothed v belt for the Saab 900? Also can I check if 45 3/4 inches diameter on the outside. seems about right? Any thoughts from you or your subscribers much appreciated. Not looking forward to fitting it, as right up against the firewall. But if the right size, I will go ahead, and give it a go. Thank you.

Hey Saab Clan, I’m thinking about joining. Looking at a 2003 Linear 2.3 wagon. engine says eco power. 130k miles. No issues he says, front struts just replaced. It’s clean, Leather in good condition. Any input would be great.

Love the upgrades! Their cobra pipe is a must for the NG 2.0's. I remember the first time I rolled that crazy hood forward and flipped it up. In 1991, my sister's '83 900S would not start, and I was very used to working on 70's and early 80's american cars. When I first saw this engine bay, the first think in my mind was "spaceship", because it was so different, and COOLER than the other cars I had seen. When we did jump it and get it running, the next thing that amazed me was the brakes. You could literally stand on them, not bark a tire, stop on a dime and eat the steering wheel if you did not have your seatbelt on. Great memories.
