This is a install video of the @Kookstv 2863H430 1-7/8" Header and GREEN Connection Kit and 286333003" Stainless GREEN Catted Y-Pipe. 2019-2020 GM 1/2 Ton Truck 6.2L. This totally change the whole sound of my truck. I feel the performance more in the low end torque. These are the most well build headers i have ever owned. I had to change my muffler also as it was way to loud for my liking. I have the ‪@borla‬ cat back system already installed. With a @rotofab1 cold air intake. Thanks to my boy Cole at Kilgore Kustoms

The Touring sounds amazing. Borla also makes a round resonator you can put in front of the muffler that will tame it down and give it a deeper tone. May be just the sound you’re after. Borla pn 60679

Was this tunned? And if so how is the mpg afterwards. Just curious. I feel a full exhaust and good tune this truck will perform better and have same or better mpg.

This is a Perfect video!! I’ve been looking for a videos with these headers and exhaust. It sounds great! Only difference i have the borla Stype on my truck and plan on getting the kooks headers with a stage 2 cam and dod delete. Thanks for the video

I’m looking at the same headers and y-pipe for my ‘17 model. Back in the old days you go back and tighten them back down or use safety wire/twist wire to keep them from backing out

I got borla arak crate muffler with the flapper valve delete and cut the resonators out and put normal exhaust pipe in and just got this exact kit you got waiting to put it in next week can’t wait really

The headers sound great. What about performance? Have you noticed any difference in fuel mileage? Did you have to have it tuned? Did the o2 sensors work back? I’m wondering because I have a 19 gmc Denali I’m thinking about doing putting headers on. Do you recommend doing it after having your truck?

I jus did cold air, longtube headers, catless, 3” pipe and stainless bros muffler. Tuned for 91 octane and E85 and theres a noticeable difference in power. Truck feels lighter. 2017 5.3 silverado single cab z71

Of wow that sounds a little to loud with the Atak on it..and The Is the torrent muffler came down much better..and I have the torrent muffler on my 2018 chevy silverado 1500 5.3l.

@@wfosteve7049 if you think it’s still too loud you can always swap it with a magnaflow muffler part number 12579. I had the corsa sport exhaust on mine then added 1 7/8 long tube headers with no cats. Way too loud for my liking. Swapped the corsa muffler out with that magnaflow and it’s perfect.
