In this video, I ditch the old, crusty master cylinder in the '66 Coronet Wagon and replace it with a new aluminum unit from Dr. Diff. I also install a rear brake proportioning valve under the dash and run all new engine compartment lines (before the engine gets dropped in and makes this way harder).

You're obviously some sort of mad genius... The fact you're a Mopar guy: Subscribed, Liked, etc! You deserve way more recognition for what you do! And thank you for giving me motivation to work on my own Road Runner...

We had my buddies brake line on his mustang ran across the trans tunnel factory like that and when we brought it to the track the inspector told us to move it because if the transmission blows up it will cut your brake line and you’ll have no way to stop, I guess he had seen it happen before, so we ran it up front instead.

That's a good point, especially considering I'm not running any sort of scatter shield. The way I have the lines run currently has the front system completely divorced from the rear system though, so in the event of a catastrophic transmission failure, I'd at least still have rear brakes. That is, assuming I would still have lower extremities attached with which to depress the brake pedal...

Hey Corey, it's this one: www.doctordiff.com/aluminum-master-cylinder-kit.html. I'm not sure which vehicle it came originally on, but i'm guessing probably some sort of 1980's Dodge Diplomat or something like that.
