Really was a great informative video ! I am about to install nitros kit for the first on my truck .. 2002 ram 1500 5.9 magnum with all the bolt Ons an Comp cam with long tube headers an transmission all rebuilt performance wise .. but wasn’t sure which kit to go with ? Watched a lot of videos on this An yours was the best for detailed info on what your kit is how it works An how to install .. this is exactly what I was looking for to help me decide .. thanku 👍

@@jasonloera3358 so the cable is too short? That’s why it’s able to go from D3, skip over D,N and land on Reverse without dropping the tranny to the ground? So hypothetically speaking to actually be in Neutral,Reverse or park you should go off feel as one would think the display would show positions pinned into the Park symbol while being in any one of the 3?

@@benjaminschnorf4870 I had the same issue and what it ended up being was I installed the shift bracket backwards, so we flipped that around and it’s almost perfect now, but every now and then it’ll say it’s in reverse when it’s in park and sometimes the truck only starts up in neutral cause it thinks it’s in park

My research showed most important thing for power on nitrous is a nice big cam. Now daily driven you’ll probably just want a mild one. But I would definitely do a 4l80 swap or something. Anything besides the 4lshitty and 6l80s. Some practically melt theirselves on stock power.

It was damn near 16sec no spray n bout 12 Sec spraying 4l80e is cool if your a cruiser or boost but I don't think you had enough power to be racing the 4l80e

Uff those shifts r poo! U need HP tuner module and bluecat in your life BADLY. my wifes bolt on 5.3l 03 yukon eat ya even when u spray, my 09 built 5.3l 4l80e 1500 on 35s would eat real bad. Im looking rite now for a wet spray. Juat ordered a lnc 2000 2sr so i can dump timing when i spray. Ive been tuning on this truck for 2 years now, just keeps getting better. I really want a procharger but dont have an eztra 8k to throw at one lol.
