This is by far the most helpful (because it is the most detailed) video for installing Rtools40. In particular, I appreciate your advice on how to save the files all in the same directory (so you can find everything in one location). However, demonstrating how to make directories writeable saved the day. Thank you.

This did it. Thanks. Some advice I would give is to slow down at the variable environment part. There's a very small window of time to pause on the path you put in for user variable. And I didn't realize you repeated the path edit in the end back for the bottom box until I put your video at 0.5 playback speed. Thank you!
